Drinkwater did great today not sure what he did wrong? He and Kante controlled midfield until our team stopped playing from around 65th minute onwards where we couldn't keep a pass going and everyone seemed to want a draw even thuogh we domianted the game lol.
Issue is the Morata Conte Love In they have going, he clearly wants to play him all the time and give him the chance, he should have been off at half time but at 60th minute you can make excuses for taking him off in a nice way. "I took you off Alvaro for rest becase you had long injury and not 100% fit". But chose not too and we paid for it, simply.
Hazard being taken off is not to bad, he was taken off because he began to tank a bit and Conte wanted to "protect" the 1-1 in a game where we had more of the ball and looked the better side, questionable decision but ok. Then we instantly conede a goal and game gets very hard. I remember the same love you had for Morata last season Remember, when I called Morata not so good as you praised him to be? Well i concede for sure, but he is not in form right now and Conte likes him alot. In Madrid it isn't getting rustled and tussled as a striker and he did better no doubt. Just in Premier league he struggling at the moment, needs bit more time etc. Not saying he finished just when Giroud on bench who better at holding ball up right now in premier league was just weird and annoying

So this is the Wenger legacy, Arsenal players diving left and right.

The Carling Cup is so bad, not sure why is still there tbh

Eh I was expecting to find lots of salt in here, Neymar died and apparently nobody cares.

edit: And Sky reporting he is out for 3 weeks, good news for the world cup tho I guess.

From February 2020, Premier League clubs will have a staggered break that will guarantee all 20 clubs at least 13 days between games.
Such a stupid time to have the break, right as Champions league resumes lol.
The proposed change would allow for an annual two-week break in early February from 2020 onwards that would allow all Premier League clubs to have at least 13 days off.
It would be staggered so there would be no weekend without Premier League football because there would be five games on the first weekend and five on the following weekend.
Teams in the Football League would not be directly involved in the winter break as the need for each team to play 46 matches requires every available weekend to be used.

So Neymar out till May, time for Di Maria to rise and shine.

I think this should serve to highlight that all the people who keep whining about players diving and making meals out of things that fairly innocuous looking things can still hurt ALOT and can cause serious injury.
If Neymar had come out of that incident unhurt despite the same contact people would be calling "dives"
This should put into perspective how annoying it can be to get little niggles and kicks all the time especially when you have your back turned.
Not to suggest that people dont 'simulate', they do and its a real problem. But unless its cut and dry that someone is pretending to be more hurt then they are, its ok to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Bale showed once again that Real won't lose much when they get rid of him
|
It seems playing Sergio Ramos upfront and leaving only Varane behind against Gerard Moreno (one of the league forwards in better shape with 11 goals) didn't work as intended xDD

How good you think is Gerard Moreno?
I have seen him a few games and he has always stood out on what it is basically a jobber Espanyol team. But cant really say I have seen enough to gauge properly.

I'm finally back from Vietnam. Ready for the business end of the Champions League. The Premier League was over before I even left. It's actually really close except Arsenal way off the pace and cruically City a million miles ahead.
