They play better than A team heh Tuchel fielded Schürrle and Ramos vs Bayern, both hardly key players so far. Lots and lots of rotation going on. Any idea why Ramos was there? I didn't see him providing much in terms of attacking play and I'd like to think they're not just using him as rotation for a game that big. Bayern had Hummels towering in defense too. It seems he's pretty well suited for nullifying Ramos' strengths. Felt like Tuchel had some kind of a plan, but I never figured out what it was. Pretty sure he planned to disrupt Boateng and Hummels, both are good passers and the first line in Bayern's build-up. Also giving an option for long balls I guess, but it didn't work all too well.
Btw I was quite impressed by Götze's intense defending against Alonso and Tiago, he did disrupt Bayern's centre, especially in the beginning. Surprising, really.

For purely disruptive play there might be better alternatives than Ramos (he at least seems too kind and soft for that stuff), but the long ball option seems like a pretty valuable asset too.
Hopefully we'll see some more Götze now. He's still way too talented to serve as some rotational backup for top tier teams.

He is going straight into management which is a very interesting move. He had offer to go do something with Brendan in which is what he should have done. Go be player coach with Celtic for 12 months whilst gaining badges and playing. Get some experience from the masterful tactician that is Brendan (lolololol i joke) then come back down south and pick up a lower league club.
He already been offered the MK Dons job but he will turn it down according to Carragher.

lol absurdly good save from romero on that second attempt

Meh Rooney fouled the defender before scoring. It was a weak push and he shouldn't have fallen down but still.

What I like most about that is that Perotti is so humble and refuses to celebrate the goal because he did not score it on purpose.

Yeah Dortmund definitely are not top2 in Germany anymore.

Leicester also struggling extremely hard in England. Great game in Swansea vs Palace though 5-4!

Lots of goals doesn't mean that game was good when both teams play some of the most horrible football you'll ever see in the league that is supposed to be one of the best in the world.

lol yeah swansea- palace second half of second half is one of the craziest ever. after 65 minutes it's 1-1. then after 68 minutes it's 3-1.
84 minutes in, we get the 3-4 goal. still 3-4 after 90 minutes, then llorente scores twice during extra time. players were going kinda crazy:D

oh my god, my respect for Löw rose XD He said during confed cup draw that he is going to rest some of the top players XD
I love international football but a tournament for 3 years (Euro, Confed Cup, WC) in a row is stupid and not exciting

Only needed to turn up for 15-20 minutes to blast Tottenham away that was nice. Bit of a sloooooow start though but still, turned it on and won the game nice. Onwards and upwards for Chels!

I think it's funny how fast the public opinion is changing from week to week. At the beginning of the season Dortmund was shit, after their win against Bayern they were great with all those young players and Tuchel was the best coach ever and Bayern was shit. And now after Dortmund loses again, lets see what the media has to say. I guess Bayern is still shit, Dortmund aswell and Leipzig is the best team. But what counts in the end is how the table looks at the end of the season I think BVB and Bayern are still Germanys best teams
