But £20million for him with maybe another buy back clause in isn't too bad at least he is playing though which is nice. Traore again i liked and we have a buy back clause in on him too. | ||

That seems fine, they offer better training facilities, boarding school arrangements, etc. And of course, Feyenoord and Ajax are the top football schools in the country (and some would say world). You then dangled a big bag of cash in front of him when he could sign his first professional contract. That's fair game. But don't claim you have a great academy when you just buy the players away from where they actually learned to play the game. You didn't even continue his training, but immediately loaned him out to various other teams. So any training he got since turning 16 is from Reading, Bournemouth and whoever else he played. The amazing Chelsea academy at work! Note: I'm not saying you don't have a good academy. You might have (I don't really know: the only academy of any fame in England is ManU), but Ake is a horrid example to show that. | ||
