Germany wins more overall but we still have plenty of wins as well. What you're saying doesn't match the facts. Or do you think the rivalry was also dead in the 90s / 00s when Germany didn't win since 1990?
Maybe you should use wiki instead of being a condescending prick all the time.

Scotland vs England on right now. Eric Dier is the worst footballer in history, cannot pass the ball to an England player at all, we getting over run very easily as Scotland playing 3-5-2 ish and we playing a 4-2-3-1 which inolves Rashford right wing who is awful there. Just square pegs in round holes again which makes no sense. We played our best football match in a long time against Germany playing 3-4-3 and now we have not played it since and we look awful. Southgate really got some answers to give after this performance so far

Honestly Rebs a bit of different phrasing and none of us Dutch would have disagree with you haha. You were kind off arguing two different points, the Dutch characteristic football and the Germany-Dutch rivalry. Like RvB mentioned the rivalry has cooled off because we haven't really been playing each other much and the matches themselves were both group games as well. We need a good knock-out game to get it going again, but at the moment we aren't in a position to really challenge them (yet).
Anyway nobody thinks we are playing good football at the moment, but the talent is there to at least play a more positive game in the future as Ajax and Feyenoord have both shown this season. The problem however is the current Dutch FA is being run by the most incompetent people on Dutch soil and that is saying a lot.

Tbf even if the rivalry would be going strong again we never would have that much of an intense rivalry like we had in the late 70s and 80s. With a few newer generations of dutch players and the WW2 survivors slowly dying out, the dutch hate has considerably cooled down. Nowadays it would be a friendly athletic/sports rivalry and not the shitshow it was back then.
Stuff like Nanninga/Hölzenbein, the Koemann/Thon trikot incident or Rijkaard spitting on Völler wouldn't happen today anymore.

the english rivalry with the germans is funnier than the dutch rivalry. at least the dutch one has been two sided at some point.
I guess Germany has just been a bit too good. I remember before last season, Rosenborg bought a player from Viking (another norwegian first division team). He was a local hero, and viking supporters were sad. What was funny was seeing viking supporters justify their anger through citing their strong rivalry with rosenborg.
No rosenborg supporter had any clue what they were talking about. We have a historical rivalry with Molde, Vålerenga, Lillestrøm and Brann, to some extent. Viking has always been one of the clubs we've had the best relationship with - from my perspective. With Germany being top dogs, it makes sense that a lot of teams have rivalries with them that aren't fully felt the other way. ;p

Some of the stuff that happened there is pretty crazy.
And yeah Germany-England is funny. It seems to be purely onesided. If you ask anyone in Germany about that rivalry they wouldn't know that it exists and would only know about the Wimbledon goal

Yeah England were absolutely woeful today, fucking Southgate showing how he can't motivate for shit. He had the most talented U21 squad in years and crashed them out in group stages last time out in Euros. Now he can't get that team ready and in shape for Scotland!!!!!
2-2 saves face but thats just awful performance all round. Please change the system for France game and then stick to it for the qualifiers

btw England U20 squad just won final against CIV U20 in pens shootout!!!

Looking like a great generation of English players coming through.

Lindelof confirmed in Manchester United for a rumoured 35M€. He'll be missed.

You're shifting goalposts. First it can only be a rivalry if we win sometimes and now it can only be a rivalry if we win in official matches. You're cherry picking facts to fit your narrative. We've only played two official matches since 2000 of which one was a draw and the other a 2-1 loss ( in a tournament where we were piss poor and even lost to DK). That's hardly enough to proclaim a decades old rivalry dead. If we take all matches we're 2-2 vs Germany which hardly matches the view that we don't win anything.
It's wrong since nobody thought the rivalry dead when Germany didn't win vs The Netherlands for 15 years. I didn't hear you saying it'd only be a rivalry if the Germans would actually win sometimes in 2010. There's more to a rivalry than winning or losing. It doesn't just disappear. Just look at all the jabs we're getting from the Germans in here. Obviously there's still enough of a rivalry for the Germans to remind us we're terrible every chance they get.
It has nothing to do with nationalist pride. If that were the case I'd be argueing with Mahgrell now who has been calling us out on our piss poor performance for months now. You're just being a jackass to nearly everyone you're discussing with and it's been irritating me and I'm calling you out on it. You can discuss without the ad hominem and the aggressive tone. While I often agree with you, your posting style is incredibly toxic. Just fix your attitude...

Sergio Gnabry is an idiot. If you can't succeed in Arsenal, couldn't get back into the team in Bremen, what makes you think you're going to have much playing time in Bayern.

I hope it means Bayern will sell Coman to a club where he can play. The dude is still young and can still make it at the top. I thought Gnabry had a good season though.
