I don't understand why they didn't leave Renato Sanches on loan at Benfica this season, he would've played nearly every game and continued to grow. Honestly I feel like this is pretty much Ancelottis fault. Under another coach Renato Sanches would have played way more this season. But Ancelotti reaaaally trusts in the old guard.

Renato and Costa barely touched a ball and both of those showed potential, Costa the season before under Pep was great. Both of them look to be on there way out and they bring in Gnarby?? lol tbf I understand why they did buy Gnabry ( 8 million for a talented German striker). I would expect them tho to loan him to a club like Hoffenheim.

Gnabry would score cool goals and have the game revolve around him but the team overall found their stride without him.

He was the only reason Bremen actually stayed competitive in the first half of the season(scored a lot of goals when Bremen was a shitshow). Then he got injured. When he got back Bremen was suddenly that well oiled machine and Bartels-Kruse really functioned perfectly together so he had a hart time getting playtime because Bremen was suddenly sooo good without him. I'm not saying he is the next big thing but he was pretty good when he played and considering how much Bayern paid... I can definitely see the reasoning behind that (from Bayerns perspective). I think it's a dumb move though by Gnabry.

It all has to do with the top teams being so stacked with the best players nowadays and being able to afford those gambles. It was way easier for a young talent to find some playing time in the CL contenders 10/15 years ago. Now there are barely any CL contenders left. Just look at Chelsea hoarding system, they can't help players like KDB or Lukaku to make the last step and have to let go the unfinished player. Same for Barca, they have several champions in Europe who could not make it in the first team.

Zidane is doing a better job, more players are feeling important with him.

Then he had to decide if he wanted to show that he deserves the spot or to pout. He chose to pout. Fuck that guy.

8m is just nothing for Bayern, and he has shown some pretty decent skills overall

I also quite enjoy that the Gnabri transfer resulted in probably the biggest meltdown of Bayern fans I've witnessed so far online
