olympics is heavily syndicated, expensive too. so media companies do everything they can to protect their content. a local australian channel has everything live and VOD for free. otherwise, usually BBC is the best option.

Serbian women finishing the 3rd quarter against France in basketball with a 13 point lead.
Match for the bronze btw. We have 4 teams competing in team sports at the Olympics and 3 are already in their finals, this would make a 4th medal.

USA wins their first ever gold in triathlon

Boooom baby, we got the bronze! Great stuff

Dutch ladies losing the volleyball and handball games for bronze and the hockey for gold (where they completely outplayed GB). Disappointing few days.

This modern pentathlon is a joke. Each athlete gets to horse which is supplied by the organizers. Not sure if he's ever seen it before. Then they are supposed to do a show jumping ride. But here in Rio, some horses care and some dont. It's a giant lottery, and if you get the wrong horse, you're basically out. Happened to the german female gold favorite yesterday, is bound to happen today to the male one, so I'm especially salty.
And modern pentathlon was on the brink of being thrown out of the olympics before.

the pentathlon had that horse problem before, its not the first time.

Female basketball final: USA 101 x 72 Spain.
Will there ever be a real challenger for USA in basketball? They just waltz in the court...

49 straight wins (6 gold medals). the next longest streak all time they said was like 16 games. I'm not sure there's anything closer to a guaranteed gold

Well USA dominated softball for a very long time too but then Japan won in 2008. So it can happen if other countries try to

Womens basketball outside the US is a meme compared to the WNBA, at least in Europe men have the Euroleague to pump serious money into the sport.

Women have a longer gold streak
