Obviously there's no money in it. That isn't much of an observation.
any other answer such as no tradition would also be not much of an observation. i dont get what u just wrote.
no money no history no tradition. what else would u say since i missed the point.

This sport is intense why do we not play it in the States?! I always ask this myself when watching Badminton... Because most people dont think of the highspeed/power sport Badminton is today, but instead have the following image in their mind, when they hear about Badminton: ![[image loading]](http://odc.scdsb.on.ca/2005/sports/Badminton/Badminton1.jpg)
In German there is even the name "Federball" which makes badminton sound even worse a sport

Not much going right for germany today, except the canoeing qualification and hockey bronze, which were kinda expected. Horse jumpers (probably not the correct term) disappointing and our gold medal candidate in modern pentathlon drew the wrong horse and is out. Football women have to save the day.

gotta say its pretty sad to see a competition in olympics when the team that just got to the finals does not even celebrate...

With this argument no new sport would ever appear. It just has to be fun to play and a bit known for a few amateur teams to be formed.

man what a rollercoaster it must be for the canadian 50km race walker. wins bronze on a protest and now loses it on an appeal by the japanese.

That hockey was intense! GB get another gold in a shoot out.

We lost to Australia in the groups but now we are going to beat them (thats the plan at least), the match against the Americans was a 'nothing to play for' match so there wasn't really any pressure on the players. Which is why we lost by only 2 points.
Sure, this American team isn't a dream team but it will still take them having a horrible day for them to lose.

Germany sure likes to party in Brazil D:
Just won gold in women's soccer, congrats!!
Sverige still has won my heart though <3

Serbia leading 35:14 at halftime... we are playing good defence but Australia is having a really bad shooting day.
Edit: end of 3rd quarter 66:38

RIP Australia. Feel bad for them to have such a letdown game. Serbia vs USA should be good

Only the final boss left.

Ashton eaton is so classy as usual, what a champion. Even if he beats a french, he is a very cool winner! Omg this egalisation at 25-25 by the polish guy, this is the most beautiful goal I ever saw in handball but still, go Hansen!

This Ayana woman is ridiculous. She's blowing away the field
Nvm she's fading and the Kenyans running together caught her
2 Kenyan women and Ayana got the medals and all finished under the OR time
