I still remember the Brazil vs Italy match during the 2004 Olympics in the group stage. 5 sets with set 5 ending 33x31 for Brazil. One of the best matches I have ever seen and made me a fan of volleyball. I really miss our team from back then. If Brazil doesn´t make it, I will definitely be cheering for Italy! EDIT: just when I posted this Italy started to lose...:/

Some sort of running and swimming are a given, but not sure about the rest. Cycling is probably out as it would be too similar to triathlon then. I'm thinking one of tennis/table tennis/badminton, which would obviously have to be downsized similarly as they do for fencing now. Maybe keep shooting (or replace it with archery).

You probably need some sort of wrestling/martial arts/fighting because it makes up a big part of the Olympics. Would be tricky to add into an event like the pentathlon/decathlon though

I didn't get a chance to watch but does the Brazil team just look deflated from losing at home in the semis? I was wondering how well they would come out and play today
