Sad thing is that if I wait to watch on TV, I won't be able to see any of these events until the evening (in about 6 hours). Not a huge fan of US coverage either. I wonder if there's any better way to watch.

Korea barely barely getting their shots in, and USA barely barely out.

Oh, that last shot ended up being changed to an 8.

If you don't like the NBC coverage, why?

I would pay the $8 for the month for the TunnelBear VPN, and watch CBC Canada coverage, which I think is doing a solid job.

https://www.tunnelbear.com/

You can make a free account, and you'll have 500MB to try out our coverage, to see if you like it. Maybe you can find some free VPN, but Tunnelbear just does a solid job.

Wow these koreans are so insanely good. Just swaggering the last set with tripple 10s

only two out of the entire match were outside the ten circle.

Maybe somewhere we do, maybe not. I definitely don't have any.

US coverage also tends to be very selective about what they show and to add a lot of terrible commentary. I'll just have to see if any other country has something better that I could actually watch.

Yeah Korea has 1st, 2nd, and 8th in the world, US has 3rd, 6th, and 26th.

GG Korea, they really should make those bullseyes smaller or distance farther if 10/10's are so consistent for these guys.

There is. It's just a pain to find it. For example, I saw them televising the France vs Australia men's basketball game on NBC sports. I think NBC has the most popular sports on tape delay. The smaller cable channels like CNBC, MSNBC, USA, etc. have stuff live.

With USA being so good at so many different sports I'd expect some extreme detailed coverage, strange.

The NBC Olympics seems to have everything. You just need a cable/satellite provider to verify that you're from the US, and then I believe you're good to go.

And I find that NBC usually does a pretty good job with coverage. I don't know if you're watching on TV, but if you are, I think that's your fault.

I guess it's because a lot of millennials are now cord cutters. I have sling tv so I have to watch it on tv. If you have a traditional cable/satellite provider, everything is on the nbc olympics site.

In NL they stream it as well for the cord cutters. Public tv bought the rights.

Does the host nation get automatic seeds in some sports? I'm watching womens rugby and it's 38-0 for Canada against Brazil lol.

Was GB guaranteed an automatic seed in men's basketball in London? I seem to remember them having to scramble.
