The Hawks are simply not physically capable of getting a two minute penalty. Only the most blatant of things are called against them while weak calls a plenty for their opponents.
black white and red? orange? maybe a little bit of orange in their icon but its not one of their main colours
I always find the Kings get away with more than most. They are a very grabby, interferey team largely because Daryl Sutter still thinks it's 1998. You could call them for something on most plays in their end. It's frustrating to watch. Effective though.

They really should be the most penalized team in NHL history.
So new drinking game for everyone since I just heard "Rogers" said 7 times in about 2 minutes during the Oiler pregame.
Take a drink every time the broadcast says Rogers.
man it's so weird with the rangers basically being god tier now. evne when they get thoroughly outplayed like they did by nashville, hank stands on his head, and the rangers convert the few opportunities they get. and they still manage to look very dangerous every time on offense.
I still can't get over how deep that damn team is, if you dont know player names or numbers you basically can't tell the first from the thirdl ine as far as skill
Rangers vs. Canadiens is going to be the biggest game of the year so far. Considering how horribly NYR played in Montreal last month, and how hot they've been since, plus the fact that the two teams are tied for first place in the East, it's going to be a big statement game to see who is top dog in the conference at this stage of the year.
NYR vs MTL ended up being a shit show. The oilers lost another player to a strange injury and the Sharks took almost 14 minutes to register their first shot in a big loss to CHI. What the hell happened today?

This is why I do not bet money on NHL hockey.
Baccarat is a much safer bet than any hockey game lol
a friend of mine was getting into sports gambling and was bugging me about hockey since he knows I watch entirely too much. my advice was dont fucking do it. hockey is a fickle beast.
i feel something like football or basketball, the more talented team will win more often. in hockey, you can have an ass team backed by Schneider that gets a little hot and whoa suddenly it's a fringe playoff team

Not to mention any NHL goalie is capable of just randomly winning a game vs the best team in the NHL via shutout despite the team in front of him playing like ass.
Or Vezina goalies having a bad day and losing the game single handedly

mmm this was such a great birthday present! go habs go
Another reason to never bet on hockey would be the Hakws Ducks game today. 2 goal lead with less than 2 minutes left? Better take a shitty penalty and let the Hawks tie it 2-2 then lose in OT. Standard Ducks this season
Klingberg with another 2 points tonight. Looking like he'll be the first defenseman since Lidstrom to hit 80 points. Last season, only 5 forwards hit 80, and 0 hit 90.
