OK result, Arsenal should be stronger at home. Some pretty shaky moments from both sides and unlucky with the post by Ox. The number of mistakes and misplays by Giroud was stupid this match, he had like 2 good touches. Alexis was injecting life, I'd really like to see him through the middle. Guess I have to wait for Walcott to return to right flank. Why they cant play Alexis central and Ox wide right is a question for me, its not like it exposes us more than with Giroud who does fuck all when defending. Guy can literally have the ball 2 metres from him and Mr Tinypants just jogs towards him. See how differently Alexis hustles. Giroud can play well at times but when he is out of form he is just so infuriating. Couple of good chances for Besiktas, and that Ba free kick was a genius effort. Overall left a bit meh feeling, stadium was like a damn massive prison and the crowd was not creating an atmosphere for their home team. Just whistling Arsenal. Heard maybe 5 chants during the whole match? Also from what I saw, Arsenal fans mostly covered their shirts with coats and whatnot, guess its a good policy in Turkey.. | ||

Bellarabi and Son could have had hat tricks if their finishing was better. Leverkusen's set piece defending is really nerve-wracking though :S | ||

So far we are posing no threat...a lot of ball but no substance. Things moving too slow. I haven't seen Porto with a 4-4-2 since Mourinho champions league away games. Edit: To be fair this is more likely a 4-5-1 asymetric than a 4-4-2 but still...4-3-3 ftw! | ||
