That lineup isn't as good as you think. Bale and Ronaldo didn't play well together in a 4-2-3-1 last season, which is why Ancelotti switched to a 4-3-3 and dropped Isco for Di Maria. Di Maria's work rate was the secret to their success and I think they will struggle without him. It wouldn't be surprising at all if Sevilla were to win today.

I must say Kroos seems to fit in nicely at Real. For all his years at Bayern it never felt like he really belonged there.

It will be interesting to see how he develops from now on. In all the youth teams he was always heads and shoulders above everyone else. His talent seemed to guarantee success throughout his career, even at Bayern. A new challenge might be exactly what is needed to get the best out of him.
