It wasn't the best game but Feyenoord was clearly the better team and had several really good chances to score, mostly by Manu. His control for his second big chance was exquisite, unfortunately his finish was straight at the keeper. It was a good win though in the end. The tempo was still way too slow I thought. Couldn't get the ball out of defense properly, I think the team was a bit nervous since they have conceded early on in quite a few games so the central defenders were overly cautious and unwilling to take the ball forward. I really like Manu though, he has been Feyenoord's most dangerous player for several games now. He missed two big chances this game but he did get into the right positions and ended up scoring the winner. | ||

But tbh as a bayern fan i dont realy care, i hate cl matches against "bad" teams, you dont get that cl flair cause in the end we will advance anyway, more competion in the groups will be great. From a german perspective this change hits schalke/dortmund, they fought their way up the pots, hat horrible draws ( ok only dortmund had horrible draws ) for some years and now they are kinda stuck in pot2, which isnt that bad - if you can face real or barca from spain, doesnt matter that much | ||

haha.But yeah pot 4 would be stacked with some of pot being pushed into it. Also pot 3 would be just as stacked as pot 2 was. Haha going to be crazy draw next season! | ||

At least the group stages will be guarantied to be more exciting, you will have two huge clubs in most groups (I think), most of the big clubs don't face big competition until the knockout stages. This forum needs more Chelsea - Barcelona grudge matches and this change is helpful in that regard, also it brings a little more hype to the group stage. | ||
