Shakthar score 1st goal somehow vs Bayern (it is football...anything can happen) and shit hits the fan pretty fast. They only need a draw remember. Would be one of the biggest shocks in champions league history but it is very possible. | ||

Leverkusen is inconsistent, but they have the potential, and all they need is one goal in Madrid and it's pretty much done. Between the fact that they are at home and the pitch won't be a piece of crap, Bayern will comfortably handle Shaktar. BVB will replace Mhki with Kagawa and bench Immobile again and they'll look much better than they did against Juventus, and between the lineup changes and being at home, we'll pull it out. 2 French, 2 Spanish, 3 German, and a Swiss team. Would be a fun CL RO8. My off-the-wall pick is to pick Schalke for the massive upset in Madrid :D | ||

A team that has got out of the group stage 3 times in 10 seasons? Would not be an upset beating Bayern one of the favorites. I think it would be one of the biggest. The two times they have made it out of the group stage has been in the 4 seasons (2010-11 and 2012-13). Out of the two times they made it into the RO16 they got into RO8 once when they then got spanked 6-1 by Barcelona. Other than that they get out and lose instantly. It would be a huge upset. Their squad imo isn't as good as the 2012-13 one either. | ||

Im certainly not happy that English clubs are doing badly, I would be happy in the knowledge that it would prove they need to improve and arent as good as they think they are. The sad part is they should be as good as they think they are and show it often aswell but just dont have it when its crunch time. United was carrying the torch with a sprinkling of Chelsea for so long and now that one of them is off the pace, its all on Chelsea. Fortunately they have the best man in Uncle Mou to make it happen. | ||

I dont see Shakthar scoring, Bayern will take it easy with ~70% ball possetion, controle the pace and score at some point. | ||
