Barcelona have a pre-deal on the transfer of Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan (24). The player has passed a medical test in Munich. [md]
O_O
Low risk move, that could solve barca's midfield problems along with the great rocketic.

Realistically speaking, could dortmund not register him for europa so he's eligible for CL with barca come january? Or mby barca could pay something more for that to happen?

I'm pretty sure that you can play in the CL if you play in the EL when you transfer mid-season. I think Kampl did it for Dortmund this season.

Also apparently everyone blamed the fitness coach for the terrible condition of the RM players It's never the dumb policy, always someone else is to blame.

edit: I'm not sure I understand Louis van Gaal's thinking. He says it's been to soon, to early for Luke Shaw to come and play at United and he is struggling with the transition. But he won't let him play with Englands under 21's. Surely if it's to soon for him to play for United England under 21's is the perfect development arena. I don't get it.

He plays mostly on the left and won't start over Hazard in a million years, and there is serious competition for the other attacking positions. Mourinho isn't exactly the king of rotation, either. If Gaitan wants to move, surely he can find a CL club where he'd get more opportunities to play?

If Gaitan wants to move, surely he can find a CL club where he'd get more opportunities to play? Surely you can understand a young star athlete who has not failed before believing himself capable of beating the odds? Plus, he gets to train with that first-team now daily. That's how you get better. Its one of the reasons Chelsea sell players on for profits all the time. Buy young and promising players, expose them to world-class players everyday in training and then sell them on if they don't break into the first team. After a year or two of sitting on the bench making bank that player can move on to another club and make just as much money, maybe a bit more, and star for the squad. My only gripe with Chelsea (besides being a United fan) is that they have amazing talents in their reserves/youth squads that aren't going to get a chance like RLC if they keep spending money on amazing bench players. Can't blame them though, you have to be competitive at multiple levels if your ambitions are trophies. Otherwise you end up as Arsenal.
