Four PL vs PL matches: Arsenal vs Hull, Burnley vs Spurs, Lester vs Newcastle, and Everton vs West Ham. Eight non-league teams are also alive in the cup, including Blyth Spartans, who play in the seventh tier.
Yeah my team Worcester City play in the 6th tier of football and we just drew with Scunthorpe on Sunday. We were still in the hat with the likes of Yanited Everton and Chelsea still to be drawn. I was getting a bit excited until we drew Chesterfield,to then be told they might be kicked out of the cup for fielding an ineligible player (they will get kicked out) and we will face MK Dons lol. Not a fantastic tie for Round 3 if we get through
I love the FA cup. Its like the one bastion of old school football sensibility in a league run by Sky money men. I remember when my team Nuneaton Boro beat Stoke in the third round by scoring in injury time at home in a replay. I was behind the goal, and it was possibly the best moment i have ever had watching a football match.
Watching Blythe Spartans the other day brought it all back for me. <3 FA cup
Haha yeah the joys of the cup. Oh well maybe if Worcester beat Scunthorpe in their reply (which is live on BT Sports Weds 17th December :D:D:D) then we might be able to beat ANOTHER league 1 team in MK Dons/Chesterfield :D
Then in round 4 :o But all we want is the money, clubs who are non league know they wont win the cup but value the money substantially.
Any opinions on Podolski doing it for Arsenal in Europe. Do you think we will see him in the Premier League? Arsenal has gone from having nothing up front to having a good choice between Wellbeck, Podolski and Giroud. I hope they play 2 of the 3 and don't keep 2 of them on the bench. I think Arsene's attention might be on the other end of the pitch right now anyway.

I want to see him do it against top class opposition. Galatasaray are dreadful; they gave up 19 goals in 6 games in the group stage. One good game against them isn't enough to convince me he deserves to play more than Giroud, Alexis, Welbeck, or Ox, who have been impressive in almost every game this season.
Basically I think Giroud and Alexis should be starting every game. The other spot should be Welbeck or Ox, with the other one as a super sub. Podolski, Campbell, and Sanogo can all fight to be that fifth guy.
I hope the new MLS teams prove popular and build a bit of a following. It would be good to see football continue to grow in the US. There's a new K-League Football team next year too. A much needed second Seoul team.
Gala sold three players according to the chairman.
So we have already sold Sneijder, i dont know about other two though. One of them might be Selcuk Inan to Everton, and other one Alex Telles to Sevilla.

Changing of the guard happening! I'm excited. Langerak has had plenty of time to grow and he looks like a really confident keeper in goal.
Wonder where the people went who claimed Weidenfeller is better then Neuer 2 years ago...
He was better than Neuer 2 years ago? I love how people keep forgetting that Neuer was one of the reasons BVB managed to win BuLi TWICE IN A ROW against Bayern
