so it looks like the di maria deal will eclipse the torres deal that chelsea dealt with a few years ago
ugh.

Manolas came to terms with Roma. The talented 23 yo CB will be bought for 15m from Olympiakos.
That means that Benatia has already being sold, to whom is the question.

When everyone behind Mata sucks so bad he himself become isolated, wouldnt it be better to play him at midfield and put Kagawa in front to have better overall play? even if he perform slightly less out of position, the combined outcome of Kagawa and Mata would have been much better with Cleverley and/or Fletcher. Of course, it's just hypothesis but given how badly United is playing, why not just give it a try

Umm, bobaz asked me couple days ago, let me search for the pm. Here it is
Ey mate, samaris is the definition of the modern holding midfielder. He can do everything, he's not aggressive though, he's more like bousquets. He has insane talent though, last season he was playing for a feeder club in the greek league. We bought him as a prospect but in only one season he managed to become a starter, do well in the CL against big teams and do amazing in his first world cup.The goal he scored against ivory coast is pure class for example. I think you will love him.
That about sums him up I think.

We loved him when he played for us! Would be awesome but I don't think about it anymore. If it happened it would be cool but it seems unlikely. I guess our management would want a deal like: 1-year loan, manutd pays 50% of his wages and we get a buyout-clause.
He'd get atleast a statue at the main station. And I'd say after 2 days he would've sold the most jerseys of all players this year (maybe 2nd most because I assume tons of jerseys sold with Hummels name after he was named captain).
There he is:

LMAO 8 games ban for Simeone, the corruption is big on this one.
Win against RM? Get rekt by the RM fans who hold the power son.

It's still amazing that they can drop the hammer on Simeone and ignore Ronaldo blatantly punching Godin. Then again, these are the same people who tried to keep Eibar out of La Liga for being too financially responsible!

Wow
Their sponsor is a local scrap metal business that first appeared on the shirt when no one else wanted to. There are 4,000 season-ticket holders and 600 more on the waiting list. You could get the population of Eibar into the Camp Nou and still have room for 71,000 people. A 15-floor block of flats would tower over most stadiums, sure, but 14 of the 15 floors in the two blocks by the ground overlook Ipurúa. The stand in front of them goes back just five rows. Temporary seats increased the capacity – by less than 700 – and Ipurúa is smaller than the 6000 minimum required in the Segunda División, let alone the 15,000 for La Liga.
They have a year to remedy that, compliance has not always been enforced (Numancia only had a capacity of 9,000) and expansion would be pointless: who’s going to sit there? On Sunday, a handful of the seats in the temporary stand remained empty. But being small was a problem before and it could be again. As Eibar headed towards the Segunda División title, they found themselves in trouble. A “model club”, in the words of the league’s president, they had no debt. But according to the law that obliged all clubs except Madrid, Barcelona, Athletic and Osasuna to become SADs (PLCs) in 1992, their social capital, their value in shares, had to be at least 25% of the average expenses of all the Segunda División teams, minus the two biggest and the two smallest. They had to take their social capital to €2,146,525m, raising over €1.7m in share issues. If not, through no fault of their own, they wouldn’t just be denied promotion to the first division but would be relegated to the Second Division B. They’d go down two divisions even more quickly than they had come up.
A campaign began. Fans bought shares; shops became stakeholders. No one could buy more than €100,000’s worth: they did not want to fall prey to speculators. Xabi Alonso and Asier Illarramendi were among those supporting it. Amazingly, it worked. Luis Maria Cendoya, a 90-year-old who has been a member since 1945, bought the share that saw them go over the threshold. On the main wall of the ground, the names of shareholders are going up in gratitude. There are lots of Basque names, but look carefully: “Paul Reidy, Ireland.” 10,000 people bought shares in 50 countries. Before kick-off, a message went round the perimeter in a series of languages: thank you.

They got Costa, Drogba and Torres, what would be the point of buying yet another striker.
How are things looking with Mangala for City? Why is Demichelis used instead of him? Injury or sth?
On an unrelated note I'm really glad this thread exists, it's the only place I can talk about football, since non of my friends is even remotely interested in sports haha :D

Because Torres is not even in the squad these days, we want him out according to reports. If u look at his "ice bucket" challenge crap you will see he is in Ibiza, 24hours after our game. So either they let him have a week off or they told him to go away from the team. Who knows but it adds up that he isn't got a future. Rumors are he wants to stay due to his wages being like 150,000 a week. You say the 3 strikers we got, 1 is 26 other is 36 and Torres, i think Destro has a chance to play

Should be a great match :D Hoping to see Strurridge and Sterling shine.

Damn, Toure is twice as big as everyone around him :D
