He also seems to think basketball players have this magic ability to reallocate their skill points. Chris Bosh didn't magic a nonexistent mid range shot out of his butt. You can't expect him to magic himself into a great rim protector (which is the only thing he's really not great at) just because that's what the team needs. Good teams put their players in the best positions, magnifying their strengths and minimizing their weaknesses. The Wolves put Love next to another big man who couldn't defend and a point guard who couldn't shoot. This is doubly funny because Love didn't come into the league as a mostly mid and long range shooter. | ||

I can see the Wizards being better than the Hawks, Horford's coming off surgery and it's hard to tell how good he'll be on his return. Lowry's off his contract year so he could just check out this season too. They definitely have a chance but I think it'll end up being close. | ||

We all like to hate on ESPN by saying everything is so milquetoast and then rail on a guy when he goes against the consensus.
