This kinda reaffirms my belief that a reverse standings draft order is absolute crap. I'd much, much rather see it goes in order of standings with the first pick being the first team that misses the playoffs, and the last picks are reverse order from standings of teams that do make the playoffs. It would give teams something to fight for right until the end of the season - better draft picks. It also wouldn't horribly screw over the top prospects every fucking year.

Edmonton winning the lottery physically hurt my soul... That's right it physically hurt a part of me that doesn't exist, wrap your mind around that... Because that makes the same amount of sense as Edmonton winning this shit again. As said by Einstein "The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result". Another talented player fed to the black hole of talent that is Edmonton...

Though I'm glad LA or Boston didn't get him, I had nightmares thinking about the insanely slim possibility of either of those teams winning with their what 1%? Just think about that for a second, so I guess it could have been worse?

I want to see the Sharks somehow get Hannifin, or instead of picking Barzal as expected get Werenski, the sharks need D real bad. They can't continue to play the Burns line and act like everything is ok. I really want them to pick up like 3 D men this draft and fill in all their holes. They've got the center role taken, they have solid offense, but the D and goalie positions are severely lacking after this year.
