He's definitely better than useless, but no one is gonna mistake him for a selke candidate anytime soon. But yeah it was fun watching him still light it up and run all over the ice like a mad man. It's all hits and goals at 100mph it's like how I play eashl haha. I definitely disagree about the Kings though. Yeah they are currently out and will be a WC team if they get in. But there's close to 30 games left, and they're just a few points behind a bunch of mediocre or bad teams like Minny, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Dallas, and Colorado. Skill wise, they are much better off than all of those teams. And LA is a possession monster year in year out. Teams like Minny and Winnipeg just started out hot and are regressing to their averages. No different than a scrub potting 20 goals one year shotting 20% and magically regressing. | ||

Our possession numbers are jumping again now that we have a respectable goalie. The only question now is 1) will enough teams ahead of us drop points (the answer already seems to be yes) and 2) do we have a second goalie that can play competently enough. | ||

Granted he's played on some of the worst NHL teams around but still, his numbers were just awful. | ||
