wowser. dubi rules but yeesh. they better be getting the 50pt+ dubi going forward. I think optimal conditions he can be good for 50-60pts if the other top 6 line is good enough to draw away better defenders and hes got decent linemates. dubi's also really good in his own end so he's gonna end up drawing the defensive match up more often than not though, so that probably affects that

I think he spends 25% of the the season in the minors and the rest of the season on LTIR. When it comes to chronic knee inflammation its really easy to make ur knee flare up right before the DRs appointment. For a total cap hit of <$0.2M All these guys ragging on Holland are illustrating their point by assuming Cleary will spend the entire year with the big club uninjured. That scenario has a very low probability. Now if Cleary plays his way onto the team and is average ...well .. $1.5M is a decent deal. and as i've already noted.. the $1M in bonuses can be used to put Detroit over the cap. Holland's move is "nothing about nothing". Jerry Seinfeld is celebrating it.

what. the. motherfucking. fuck. Just hire him as a god damn scout for 5 million a year. or a special assistant to the GM for 10 million a year. On the plus side Ken Holland has announced that his 'offseason' is over. Overpay for Quincey, check. Bring back Cleary, check. Time to take a well deserved 2 month vacation. That DeKayser kid and Alferdson I am sure will wait with baited breath until training camp because fuck them, Kenny gotta take care of his soldiers.

i have 100% faith in Mike Babcock's ability to either extract the salary cap value out of Cleary as an NHLer or send him to the AHL. watch for cleary to get "injured" the day Detroit peaks in their "average salary cap value".... so they can use his contract to exceed the cap... whether it happens in the AHL or NHL... who knows.. i'm betting its in the AHL.

He was hardly given a chance on a team that went 27-47-8 the year before he was hired. He spent two season coaching a team of kids that couldn't play defense and a defense core that couldn't play defense. He was set up to fail.

Set up for failure, but on the bright side TN has the best Iced Tea and bbq of any southern state, so he's basically taking out all the negatives in his life ![]()

I know they got him cheap but why anyone wants this guy on their team and in their locker room is beyond me. He is a toxic plague wherever he goes. Yea he can sometimes get some points but all he really does is dive, cry and be a little bitch more of a soccer player then a hockey player..... Always hated him when he played for Montreal. Was so happy when they let him go!
