I mean are there any that use it as a weight to judge a player's offensive production. So we can avoid the PER problem (one of the many PER problems) of having 5/25 reflect better than 1/5. To give a more tangible example: Iggy's numbers are the worst of his career, but I'd argue he's playing some of the best basketball of his career (injured period aside.) Considering a player's % of the team's shots might enable us to consider how much their team relies on their scoring. In this case, the Warriors rely on Iggy's scoring a lot less than the Sixers did. If Iggy scored more, it might actually hurt the Warriors' offense. Call it the Russell Westbrook model. | ||

Or is that somehow not against the rules? He meant the play before. There was the one inbounding the ball, and 5 Spurs on the other side of the court. Ellis started yelling, and Popovich immediately pulled one of his players off during the downtime between the second inbound attempt. | ||
