Get the referees. I mean they helped you enormously dude... Melanie Daoust got 4 minutes for doing what? getting beat up by 4 Finns? Hefford scored on an even strength goal and skated through the entire team. and now that Canada has the lead we have the unofficial "even up" call. Canada basically got the first goal for free with the referee giving a retarded penalty lol. And just before that some canadian gave nice hand pass.

Honestly the ref isn't as bad as people in this thread are saying, this is just how womens hockey goes... I don't really like it either but they do have much stricter contact rules. meh.

Dunno canadians have done like twice rougher hits in these olympics but no penalties havent been given to them. Feels pretty shitty that winning goal happens because of a big referee mistake.

Canada outplayed FInland is every part of the game. It was pretty close though.
Parity between women's teams is improving.
Finland does have a shot at beating either Canada or the USA in the "elimination rounds". Russia looks good too.

I don't really disagree, I was really more clarifying that women's hockey does have different rules. On the other hand I think checking should be allowed in women's hockey so I often enjoy it when the refs don't call every hit as a penalty... but obviously if it only goes one way it sucks.
Finlands good though, I hope you guys beat USA so we can meet in the finals.

the Russian team ( other than their goalie ) looks really good. on the IIHF rankings Russia is #4.
I'd love to see Russia in the gold medal game just to see what kind of atmosphere it can create in the arena.

Meanwhile the Swedish curling gents got to spank the Brits too

Also, the 'livestream' page is just playinig USA vs CANADA from 2010, jesus, what the fuck.
To be fair, the videos (at least most) are on demand even if they are live. There are no commercials though there are some breaks.
The livestream page isn't the right page to see the streams. Have to go through the current olympics events page.
Many of the tv subscriptions (at least ones I have experience with) don't have a time length requirements so it's essentially a one month (possibly) less cost to have access to olympics. . I have no problem paying the 40 or so dollars for access to Olympics vods.

Almost had a sweep for Men's moguls.
1 and 2 is still pretty good though!

Is there anywhere for curling vods? I love curling and I'm missing it.
