Well is anyone surprised? It's like the coache's poll in CFB. Not coach who does his job at a high level can possibly watch and properly evaluate all of the other teams. That combined with the general stance against analytics by NBA coaches leads to Lowry getting snubbed and DeRozan getting in.

They'll still need a replacement for Kobe, but do they have to pick another guard to replace him? I think The Brow is the leading candidate, followed by Dragic.

Would've preferred Afflalo/Stephenson over Iso Joe, but whatever.

I have zero issue with Aldridge over Davis. But pretty much anyone else over Davis and we have a problem.

Serious question: if you had a choice between Davis and Howard, who do you take? I honestly have no idea.

I agree.

As for Johnson, I heard someone say "he's in the All-Star conversation" on a national telecast or something a few weeks ago. The fact that he's the second highest paid player in the league and someone had to say that is fantastic.

I'm not even sure about this season. His rate stats are about 1.5 PPG better, about 2.5 RPG behind, and I'd argue that Davis plays better defense. Howard does, however, shoot about 5% better from the field.

If you have to win literally this season, Dwight. If you want to win next season and beyond for 10+ years (he's only 20 after all), go with the Brow.

obv Davis over Howard in every situation, don't see how it's close at all. Also the only thing LMA has over Davis is playing on a winning team.

Davis is better than LMA on both sides of the ball. LMA shoots the midrange better but isn't a better offensive player IMO.

Its just fancy PG syndrome. You cant guard a fast, athletic PG with todays rules without a center who is actually trying behind you. Who trys hard against the cavs? Thibideau teams?
