I agree with the above. Phoenix's best outcome was to tank but they've already won too much.

EDIT: For the record, I feel pretty much the same about the Raptors and Lowry. They probably should have tanked, but this year has been such a relavelation, they just have to roll with it.

They aren't all of the sudden getting better, its just impossible to defend the 1 right now without having your center/pf locked in. They all get open threes, and can create a lane to the basket in man to man or off a pnr. The rules basically are a giveaway to PGs, like the rules in the NFL are basically a giveaway to QBs.

^ the rules have changed so much so that having excellent bigs are marginalized by having excellent wingmen. they're just harder to defend due to rule changes. incorporation of the zone makes bigs not the 'easy buckets' they used to be. hell look a the fucking all start lineup.. 3 forwards and 2 guards. what happened to the center position?!

Kinda crazy that Lowry having the 2nd best PER among guards in the east behind Wade doesn't make the team. I would have put him in before DeRozan.

That's due to the current speed and athleticism, and lack of big men in training.

The zone has had relatively little impact on the NBA, since most teams still can't get buy-in to have their players run it effectively.

Not to mention that if you look at the All-Star lineup there are plenty of Centers. Hibbert, Noah, Bosh, and Howard all made the cut. Anthony Davis will probably make it as well since Kobe can't play.

Those players are basically the rare good help defender that can even prevent a PG from shredding your defense. But if you are playing a team, there is no Point Guard who can defend another point guard in man to man, let alone running around a screen.

What does everyone think of K Love on D? He still looks very flawed to me (admit I haven't watched him a lot though). Curious on opinions of people who have seen him more.
