Jerubaal you seem to have a problem getting over with the way Miami was built. Get over it, because it's clouding your judgment.
Michael Beasley has been utter garbage the last few years and somehow looks like a productive player on Miami. Same for Lewis. Ray Allen looked dead in Boston and now has a pulse in Miami. The fact that Spo could play Chalmers and Cole in the Finals without it being a disaster when Wade and Bosh are hurt means a lot.
It's odd that your excuse for the Heat being good is that they have a lot of talent, and yet the Spurs do also but you aren't criticizing them. But because they relied on luck and scouting to be built through the draft, and Miami relied on maximizing their cap space and superstar draw one is the "right" way and the other isn't? Sorry, but that's the mentality of a scrub. The only rule to the game of winning basketball is acquiring better players than your competition. However you do it is mostly a consequence of what the organization can realistically achieve given their cap situation and players already on the team. Wade getting drafted by Miami means they'll rarely see the lottery but thanks to a broken leg by David Robinson San Antonio should be praised for doing it the right way. Scrub thought process.

Miami vs Indiana TOMORROW

To be fair, Jerubaal.
If you are trying to say that Popovich is a better coach than Spoelstra, then you should just outright say that. Because that would probably be an argument we can't win.
|
Fine. I'll say it.
Popovich is a better coach than Spoelstra.

the dubs are awful without iggy

The dubs desperately need to trade Lee. He's just brutal. Would the bucks be dumb enough to give up Ilyasova and Ridnour for Lee?

lee is all star! 20-10! he's your perfect win now piece at the 4 spot. get him now while he's hot bucks, chuck in mayo while you're at it.
in other words, bucks would do it in a heartbeat
|
I'm not sure the bucks are that silly anymore.
Lee has become what Rudy was to the Grizz.

This Kings lineup with Isaiah Thomas is pretty exciting. Gonna be a crazy athletic lineup with Thomas, Mclemore, Gay, Williams, Cousins.
|
too many scorers, not enough distributors. Could easily see them become a poor man's Knicks where each dude just takes turns dribbling the ball and chucking it up.
|
Yep, it's very much a team of five individuals.
|
Well I could see McLemore at least being a pretty good spot-up guy but Gay/Thomas/Cousins all need the ball in their hands to be effective at all.
|
Cousins does just fine playing without that many touches. Really it's gonna be a battle between Thomas and Gay.
And Fredette actually got some minutes today! They just needed to trade 1/3 of their lineup away for him to get some play time.
|
He's primarily a post player. What is he gonna do without the ball? He likes to think he has a midrange jumper but defenses can sag the fuck off him into the paint. I guess he could run some pick and rolls but he's not fast enough to really be elite at that. He got a max extension, he's gonna get post touches.

Cousins currently leads the league in usage. No way he concedes touches to Gay and Isaiah without a fight.

I fear you may mean that in a literal sense

Adam Silver to review usefulness of divisions.
personally i think divisions are fine, but a guaranteed top 4 seed is excessive
|
Then there's literally no meaning to them at all. I'm ok with abolishing them, it's not like they serve any real purpose at all.
