And even if they were in better shape there is a safe way to defeat them, just give them the ball - they will be confused and don't know what to do. Bayern won't have a left winger for the game against Arsenal with Ribery and Shaq out :/ Götze played it most of the time. Also Robben is potentially there and Alaba is an option too. Or how about Lahm? Its the only position besides Goalkeeper and Greenkeeper that guardiola hasn´t played him.

![]() I just cannot miss MCity vs Barcelona, sorry PSG :'( It's going to be very interesting... Two strong attacks, two weak defenses, doubt on Barça's side about their level, doubt on MCity's side about their lack of experience in these games. Barça, on paper, is superior, but if they don't react when take a hit (like against Bayern, or more rencently against Valencia), I'm afraid that they can get completely rolled over by City's counter-attacks. If I had to bet, I would say 1-3 (heart) 2-1 (head). Leverkusen vs PSG, I expect a tough game for Paris, they are not as good as they were 2 months ago. I'd bet on a draw, 1-1.

Sirigu GK (n°2 national Italian team) Van der Wiel/Alex-Thiago Silva/Maxwell Veratti/Thiago Motta/Matuidi Cavani/Ibra/Lavezzi Cavani is injured and Lavezzi hasn't been performing well lately, so you'll probably see Lucas Moura + Pastore instead. Under Ancelotti last year they were a very good counter-attacking team, but since Blanc arrived, they try to keep the ball and to 'create football', with their very good midfield (+Ibra that likes to come back to start offensives). With Ibra + Cavani they are very lethal, not so much without Cavani, because when Ibra plays this 10 role, it only leaves Moura/Lavezzi/Pastore to score goals and they are not that great at it. Defensively they are very strong, but as any respectable big team, they like to play with 2 offensive wingbacks. Unfortunately these 2 are better at attacking than defending. But it's all fiiiiine when you have Thiago Silva xD Basically they'll try to go there and take possession of the ball, and they won't go crazy offensive without Cavani. They are still very good at counter-attacking, so that makes them a very adaptive team. They are not the best team in Europe, but they have very talented players in every line and an exceptional player to lead the attacking front, so they can be considered a serious outsider for this CL.

I see this as a pretty 50-50 tie without Aguero. With Aguero i think City are far to dangerous on the counter attack.

"Of course by history Barcelona is the favourite, but this Barcelona, this season, is showing that it is not the same in previous years. "Of course, they have [Lionel] Messi - he is special - and they have more than him. But I think this is the worst Barcelona of many, many years." Couldn't agree more ![]() Source

I'm only 26 years old and I have seen Barça struggling to get into the old "Europa League". My parents lived 16 years in a row without a title. Mou has no clue about Barça history, just like about most football related stuff.

2005 chelsea won 4-2 at stamford bridge in an amazing game. That was also a barca team that won the league by 4 points? Was that "poor"? That is not 6 years ago that is 9 years ago bro.... 2006 8 years ago you then won the competition with the same squad?

To be honest, I completely agree with Wenger. I'm ashamed for Chelsea. Sure I don't really like the policy of the club, but no-one deserves a scumbag like him. It's about time someone tells him that in the media, from now on, he only talks about his own goddamn team. He already ruined Real Madrid's image during his years there, now he's on a direct course to ruin Chelsea's image as well.

Yes I'm not even sure this Barça is the worst Barça of the past 6 years, let alone "many, many years" like Mou said. If by many he means like 15+ then I'm positive he's dead wrong.
