Not that i'm complaining about the off side goal against Porto, because if karma was real, that had to happen every game for the next 5 or so years, to balance things out. In the future when we have 10 week retrospective bans for diving and foul play, and TV booth reviews for red cards and penalties, we will look back at this time and laugh at how awfully the game was run.

Shakhtar Donetsk 0-2 Manchester United Real Madrid 2-0 FC Københaven Juventus 2-1 Galatasaray PSG 1-0 Benfica Anderlecht 0-0 Olympiacos CSKA Moscow 1-1 FC Viktoria Plzeň Manchester City 1-2 Bayern München ManC vs Bayern will be a tough game I think. ManCity has finally to prove themselves on international stage and Bayern kinda did not show much passion the last games in the Bundesliga. I think ManCity will start with 1-0 and Bayern having a hard time fighting back.

More like crying about how many times Ajax got screwed over the last few years and how long it took for the idiots at UEFA and FIFA to grow a brain.

Yeah. I agree entierly. I literally just posted this on facebook: Commentators keep saying the referee has to give a penalty or a yellow card like there are no other options. If he suspects the striker is diving and isn’t sure it’s madness to give him a yellow card just in case he was diving. Give nothing and refer it to an after match panel. Give a one match ban for every instance of diving or trying to cheat found after the match. That would stamp it out pretty quickly. It's only natural that there are going to be things the referee doesn't see or gets incorrect. Sometimes I think we ask too much of them. But having all the video evidence and slow motions we have these days it's so agonisingly obvious when they get a decision wrong.

Sorry but never going to happen, UEFA and FIFA will always be all talk. I would much rather they go after corruption in football but that is an even bigger fantasy.

But I think soon the pressure on UEFA and FIFA to follow the English FA with goal line technology will force them to follow suit. Maybe if we could implement the two ideas I previously submitted here, the same might occur ![]()
