Real Madrid surely does not feel safe at all. This is basically pretty even still. Can go either way in the Allianz Arena next week.
50/50
A bit dissapointed by Bayern. Thiago is so important for them. I underestimated his importance - a lot. 1-0 is the best result Real could have hoped for. A 3-0 lead and they get cocky just like vs BVB again. But no one ever feels safe with 1-0 so they will play 100%. Thiago isn't the problem. It's the one dimensional approach of Guardiola Bayern destroyed teams last year without Thiago. Thiago is just a convenient excuse for fans To be fair last year they came out of a season where they became 2nd in everything. They must have been extremely motivated. I don't believe the same kind of motivation is possible after you've won everything.

Bayern just need to get their shit together. They have been playing sub-par for several weeks now. Ribery is completely out of shape, Schweinsteiger has been making wonky mistakes and the entire defense looks shaky. I also don't like their offensive approach which seems to be to pass the ball around handball-style and then just cross it in at some point. I don't understand how that's supposed to work against a decent team. Also, Rafinha is a shit player, and keeping their most successful offensive player (Müller) on the bench for 75 minutes is a weird decision. Unless he was semi-injured or something.

Boateng is just sooo slow. Doesnt get punished in the Bundesliga but against Real? Man Boateng is sooooo freaking slow

Rafinha actually played a good game, he was more defensive on purpose. You could argue that Dante/Boateng are a bit falling off against the rest of the team but on the other side who is available which is better?

Martinez is slower i think. Dante is ok but in my opinion he is the one that benefits the most of beeing on a grat team.
And as much as i like Badstuber, i dont think he can get the level to play for Bayern right now in time after two torn ACL´s. Sending him on a loan maybe even a good idea.

The problem of all four Bayern CBs: vanBuyten, Dante, Boateng and Badstuber is that they are very slow CBs, not one of them has the speed to defend counter attacks

Boateng is the fastest playern of the hole team with 34,4 km/h in the sprint, faster then ribery. http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/bayern-muenchen/die-grosse-bild-statistik-33977302.bild.html

My point is that in crucial games against teams that are actually good and fast enough in the counterplay he is just too slow. (look at the game vs dortmund, mancity, real) Obviously I wont force you to agree with me and I respect that there are people of different opinions, but why are we here if not to discuss football/players.

Benfica vs Juventus is an awesome match up but its going to be terrible because of referee, Cuneyt Cakir.
|
benfica juventus should be nice
|
What a start for Benfica!
Garay scores with header and Benfica leads 1-0!
|
benfica 1 - 0 juventus that was fast
|
|
This Referee!! every little touch that could be in favor of Juve it's always foul. The other way around it's never foul... 2 Offsides that weren't sanctioned for Juventus.
God Damn Referee trying to ruin the game...
I know that Platini played at Juventus, but this is too much....
