Real Madrid - Borussia Dortmund 3-0 Paris Saint-Germain - Chelsea FC 1-0 My Prediction: Real Madrid - Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Paris Saint-Germain - Chelsea FC 0-1 Also, Atletico physios and fitness coaches must be some wizards. To perform this well with basically 15 quality players available and no rotation in so many competitions, is a miracle. I just hope it continues (even though I support Barcelona).

Dortmund managed to do the same for basically 2-3 years, but this year all players broke down. So I think Atletico players will feel all that exhaustion some day too I think squad rotations are another thing that keeps big clubs always on the top. Sure, there will be years where some team might upset them but over a longer span of time the big ones will succeed

These are the lineups from European Super Cup match Atletico vs Chelsea, won by Atletico 4-1 on 31 August 2012. Courtois, Juanfran, Miranda, Godin, Filipe Luis, Gabi, Koke and Arda Turan are still first 11 members. Mario Suarez and Adrian Rodriguez are around as well, while Cristian Rodriguez, Diego Costa and Raul Garcia, who were subs in 2012, play a part in current success too. So. in fact, those guys are being exploited for 2 years already and peaking only now. On April 03 2014 03:18 Steveling wrote: Both david luiz and ramires is a very defensive formation no? Without Matić available for international duties, Mou hasn't much choice - he only uses Lampard if more offensive quality is needed and Mikel only when there's a need to Motta is a beefy DM, the "get the dirty job done" guy. Some time ago, he used to be quite versatile player, but PSG uses him mostly as a defensive resource, because they don't have too many other players of such qualities in their squad.

Dortmund players have been around before 2010 too -.- It just takes different kinds of energy between just playing and getting good results and playing for titles

Yeah it the same formation, that on paper is 4-3-3 but is pretty much, ok lets see if you can score against us, then we will change if so. 0-1 is Mourinho's aim with that, countering at every opportunity, but would take a 0-0 clearly xD
