Absolutely possible.
In football anything is possible and much much bigger upsets have happened before.
Munich is the favourite but its not by a huge margin. Favs yes, but definitely no walk over

I can't see how Arsenal can win versus Bayern cause they lack the depth even in their Starting XI. and missing Ramsey is pretty huge too. Would be a big suprise if Arsenal wins. Having said that, Bayern are the favorites. The biggest problem i see for Arsenal is the lack of a physical defensive midfielder. You cant really play a midfield like Wilsher/Rosicky against Bayern because if you aren´t able to interrupt the ball circulation between Lahm/Tiago/Kroos you are in for a long night. Also i would like to see Wenger having the guts to cut Özil from the starting 11 and bring him in later. From watching the German national team Özil is just not good enough defensivly to compede against a team that is very good at ball posession football.
Arsenal have Flamini? I'm expecting Cazorla/Özil/Rosicky behind Giroud. That's what Wenger has been doing for all the big games. Then we'll see Wilshere and Flamini in central midfield because there aren't really any other options.

I think you can´t really blame the ref on that. It is a lot different at full speed and you needed multiple slow motions form like five angles to judge it. Its more that it is stupid a stupid rule with a red card AND a penalty. On fouls that aren´t brutal it should be a yellow. No, the rule is a message "do not deliberately foul an opponent who's in a scoring position". It's that simple, I don't know what's so hard to understand about it. It's the same as when you hand-block a shot going in. A handball is not a red card move, preventing a goal by an illegal move is.

müller is in a pretty bad shape at the moment, so it seemed to be pretty clear that he wouldn't be in the starting line-up.
lahm on the right defender position, well... lahm just cannot disappoint. but i'm pretty curious about martinez on the 6. i really hope guardiola's ideas will work out as he wants. arsenal isn't really an opponent for trying new things..
|
Why the hell isn't Schweinsteiger in the starting line-up?

Bayern are beatable and they haven't palyed a really good team for months. If Arsenal play their best, anything can happen
