Aside from that, LvG has a good track record introducing youth and doesn't like to rely heavily on the transfer market. While undoubtedly United need to strengthen some in the Summer they can take a more measured approach with LvG at the helm (not just dumping 200 million £ tottenham style). If LvG could lay the foundations for 2-3 seasons similar to his work at Bayern then that would set the plate splendidly for the next long term candidate, potentially Klopp who may be ready to leave Dortmund at that time.

The CL is a pipe dream. The results the past month or so have been acceptable, but the football really wasn't. The next time they play a decent side and don't completely park the bus then I think they will lose again if they play like they did against Villa for example. Again, I could see United sticking with Moyes for the next season, but I don't think that would be a wise decision.

Valverde is so great. 3 greece leagues and 2 cup in 3 years with Olimpiacos. He made "Espanyol" to reach the UEFA 2006 (europa league) final and they loosed the European title in the penalty shootout, he made a awesome job with Valencia last year after be contracted in the middle, etc.

Well, they are not mathematically eliminated but they are 9 points behind Everton. Everton would have to lose I think all but 1 of their remaining games and United would have to win everything. So, it's not very likely at all.

Feel kinda bad for Everton though, Man United, Southampton and then Man City last three matches. Real are leading 3:0 so many cool games incoming! and potential for cl play. regardless this season has been great.

It's not about losing titles, it's about how it happens. It's also about how they destroy an amazing project that could have been a success for many more years, because of politics. With the players they have, of course they'll stay among the best in Europe and in la Liga, they may even win a CL with some luck, but with Guardiola it wasn't about luck... Now we have to look at what could have been our own "Ferguson" win titles in another club, while we hire a no-name with 0 personality, because we want someone who won't go against the direction when they choose the players to buy and to field (don't blame Zubizarreta, they probably don't even care about his opinion for the transfers...). I hope we get destroyed by Madrid in la Copa and that we let the last game go so Atletico is champion instead of RM (hence giving a bad image), so this direction has 0 argument to postpone a reelection.

Not sure how much can be done with the 2 transfer window ban coming in. Barsa needs to be really careful now.
