Transfer Deadline Day - Manchester United are looking at a bid for Porto midfielder Fernando. PSG and Newcastle have agreed a £19million deal for Yohan Cabaye. Wayne Rooney is increasingly confident of signing a new record-breaking contract at Manchester United and could even put pen to paper by the end of the week, it emerged on Monday night. Jose Mourinho could swap Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who is on loan with Atletico Madrid, for Diego Costa. Manchester United have considered Porto's Eliaquim Mangala, Kurt Zouma of St Etienne and Bayern Munich's Dante as replacements for Rio Ferdinand. Monaco are weighing up moves for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez and Southampton forward Dani Osvaldo Steven Defour will stay at Porto after the club rejected an offer from Fulham. Benfica are close to selling Andre Gomes to an English club for €15million (£12.4m). Sunderland might finalise the signing of forward Ignacio Scocco on Monday but need to accept to pay what Internacional owe Newell's in order to sign him. Manchester United and Chelsea target Luke Shaw doesn't want to leave Southampton, insists Mauricio Pochettino. Napoli have made their last approach to Tottenham Hotspur about Etienne Capoue. Borussia Dortmund are undecided on whether they will sign a replacement for Jakub Blaszczykowski after his season-ending injury. Fulham are considering Kaiserslautern striker Simon Zoller. Fulham have watched Cologne pair Kevin Wimmer and Yannick Gerhardt. Newcastle have targeted Lyon starlet Clement Grenier to replace Yohan Cabaye and have already bid €13m (£10.7m) but the deal will not be done in January. Inter Milan are still considering the possibility to sign Mirko Vucinic from Juventus while a second option could be Southampton's Dani Osvaldo. Southampton are ready to revive their interest in Cagliari defender Davide Astori. Michael Laudrup has revealed Swansea are still waiting for an answer from Blackpool's Tom Ince over a loan move. Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis reckons he can resurrect a deal for free agent Momo Sissoko before Friday's deadline. Adel Taarabt has been told he has no future at Fulham. Aston Villa are eyeing Bournemouth midfielder Eunan O'Kane. Southampton could fine Dani Osvaldo nearly a quarter of a million pounds if he doesn't leave the club this week.

Right now the main source of our Asian fans are Torres fans xD Chelsea board is probably racist towards East Asians. There are tons of Japanese and South Korean skilled players in Europe.

But yeah it is interesting, every team should have an Asian star in it to help boost publicity! Especially when you see Ki just bossing it up for Sunderland. He might not be technically a midfield maestro but hell he can sure run box to box and make tackles and pass it off to feet well enough.

![]() I just don't understand why African players are preferred over Asian players. Never did, never will.

Playing matches is the most important thing for his development right now by far. At Man U and Chelsea he arguably won't even be on the bench, especially in case of the latter. He'll just be loaned out or something. Every football player his age should have this kind of mentality instead of scooping up the easy money that a contract at a big club gives you.

Also you add Ashley Cole at Chelsea is out of contract in the summer. Will they renew it? Maybe, maybe not. If Luke comes in they might and let him go on free. Then he becomes 1st choice LB with maybe Azpi as competition. Then Yanited is even better. They have a lackluster performing Buttner and Evra. Evra is off in the summer he is done as a Yanited player. Add the coach is Moyes who gives youth at chance like Fergie, especially British players, Shaw would probably get more game time than Chelsea at Yanited. However i still think he would get 20 games at Chelsea. Just think he would get like 30 at Yanited.

Obviously they'll tell him they have plans but there are plenty of players who are bought for thr bench or for the small chance that they'll break trough. Or do you really think Chelsea and City expect all the young players they buy to play in the first team.

Like many people thought Willian wouldn't get into the Chelsea team but he is like one of our best midfielders. Clearly hard working as well too, he is not just a good attacking playmaker/winger he is good at tracking back and following runs. If Salah can do that as well which he has shown he can then we will probably have some issues as we will have 5 players trying to get 3 positions on the pitch xD
