Overall, pretty poor game considering the expectations. Against Gabi and Tiago who are both awesome defensive players, there was not enough space to stir it up in the middle and the first-touch passing never really clicked for FCB well enough to break it. If only Miranda was equally good in air as Godin is, there would've been no danger whatsoever, wheras some threats occured here in there due to the crosses (ridiculous for a team with average height of like 1.75, but that's how they seem to roll under Martino). Atletico banked their chances on long balls but that was sufficient as well. Tomorrow Real is likely to close the gap and it will be 50-50-47 on the top of La Liga. Triumvirate? | ||

Thats a funny comic but its also wrong. Bayern has around 3 times more players from their youth teams and their academy that play regularly than Dortmund. | ||

Besides Barca i think thats a high number for a top team. | ||
