I think a nice setup for our team would actually be: -----------------------------[striker]-------------------------- Hazard---------------------Mata-----------------Ramires --------------Lampard / Oscar/Luiz (depending on opponent) Cole-------------Terry-------------Cahill------------Ivanovic I think both Oscar and Luiz belong in midfield and actually Oscar has the perfect attributes for a CM, good passing, good control but also a reasonable defender with more defensive ability than most people with his paltry physique. Also, Ramires imo should play winger. I think he has always been best there. A great defensive cover for our RB, can use his supreme pace and gets into scoring positions more often (he is one of our best finishers). He is also horrific on the ball, can't pass for toffee but can cross well so I don't like seeing him in the centre personally. I feel this team would be beastly as hell. Willian and Schurrle etc can be on the bench. Although I have to admit this fiercely lethal team I have set out would be better on the counter than in a high possession style which seems to be what Mou wants to do (probs with nudging from Roman).

![]() Also yeah that team is fine sc4k i agree. Always thought and i believe Oscar thinks too his best position is a CM. Having him alongside Luiz or even Ramires there is what i would do. Then i would have Willian on the wing with Mata in the middle again.

Except that Özil doesn't just make thr last pass once in a while like Pande said but does it more frequently than any other player. What makes him so amazing in my eyes is that for him giving thr assist is as important as scoring a goal himself.

Mine would look something like Neuer (btw how is Muslera doing atm? In my memory he and Casillas were the best keepers in 2010 WC) Lahm-Boateng-Kompany-??? (not sure, maybe Alaba. I feel left/right back is the position with the least world class players/most challenging position in today's football. Also I don't know too much about non-Bundesliga-defenders) Schweinsteiger Messi-Ronaldo-Ribery-Suarez-Ibrahimovic in no specific tactical position. Also I'm probably late to the party ![]()

I wonder how Mourinho convinces Mata and other bench-warmers that they are still important to the team...

Ibrahimvoic is to hot and cold for me. He only scores wonder goals and only turns up randomly. Like Drogba towards end of his career at Chelsea. Used to just own house in games vs Yanited/City/Arsenal and Champs League xD On January 04 2014 03:45 sharkie wrote: This motivation and the players' love of him is one of Mourinho's strengths. I agree in that his mind and ways of motivation are Mou's forte tho.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been charged by The FA over post-match media comments he made following his side’s game against Manchester City on 26 December 2013. It is alleged the comments by Rodgers called into question the integrity of the match referee, and/or implied that the match referee was motivated by bias; and/or brought the game into disrepute; and/or amounted to a failure to act in the best interests of the game. Rodgers has until 6pm on 8 January 2014 to respond to the charge. Source Comments that got him into trouble

Was dumb of him to question the refs integrity, but how Mason and Webb arn´t finding themselves in the championship right now shows the complete incompetence of the FA.

I love Özil, but I don't think he is close to a perfect 10. Sure, some aspects of his play are at world class level for this position, others however are mediocre. Against some of Germany's opponents I would prefer Götze or Kroos to start instead of Özil for tactical reasons, they have different strengths and weaknesses.

THe rumours he's leaving aren't there for nothing. Mata isn't too happy, but he is far too nice to clash with Mourinho in the same way Casillas did. I think Mata will have a big role to play in the later stages of the season as he is simply going to be far fitter than the rest haha. No way Mourinho is letting Mata go to any champions league/EPL rival, he is far too good of a player.
