If someone other than Mata playing secures three points then he should just work harder to become that guy that gets the three points easier.

This won't work, otherwise Blanc or Ancelotti would have tried Pastore as a 10. Ibrahimovic is a scoring machine and an amazing striker, but seriously he does whatever he wants on the field and he oftern finds himself playing alongside Verratti forcing Matuidi to play as the 9. Since he always wants the ball, it's almost impossible for Paris to play a 10 with Ibra. I'm OK with Mata to replace Lavezzi tho  | ||

To replace Lavezzi and to be "on average" behind Ibra and Cavani. Mata can easily work on a side and deliver crosses. PSG needs either this kind of profile or a crossing machine on the wing (Reus, Pedro, ..). The problem with Mata is he can't play in the CL for another team this season Buying him now would ensure that he doesn't go to another club, but I'm sure he wants to play some CL too so it's not going to be easy to make him leave Chelsea just to play French Ligue 1 :D | ||

I doubt very much Blanc will change his 4-3-3 for any player. Mata would play on the left instead of Lavezzi or in the midfield trio. Basically a (much) better Pastore. Cabaye would be Motta's backup and I believe Pogba would be a starter over Verratti or Matuidi after some time. The most intersting is that all these players can score goals unlike our midfielders. But the most important thing is that we play with a three player midfield and we only have three quality players. | ||
