This transfer window may be important. Not completely confident we'll get our usual surge. I don't think Moyes knows his best 11.

Athletico looked like they worked hard but i think they were more lucky than anything facing the Barcelona side which were just lackluster. Hey makes for a more interesting La Liga though! Also might be proving Guillem Ballague right...he said Real will win the league and be better than Barcelona by the end of the season and well watching them they were pretty good! Bale is finding his feet now, 13 appearances and 9 goals...hell he isn't even fucking fit yet haha! Also...6 assists!! In La Liga alone, not bad indeed! Looks like he is becoming a Galactico ^_^ On December 02 2013 16:59 Sabu113 wrote: God Manchester United needs a midfielder who can pass he ball forward. Cleverly you looked so good at first but it's all gone so horribly wrong. Fuck and we wasted 27 on Fellaini. Argh. Frustrating result considering we can't get any sort of momentum going. Valencia is fine and all except he can't do the one thing that made him a top level winger- cross. -.- This transfer window may be important. Not completely confident we'll get our usual surge. I don't think Moyes knows his best 11. Oh yeah that reminds me, Athletico last night....Ander Herrera looks more than capable of being that player you want, he is still learning and would need time to get to the pace of the premier league. However i think he is capable, shows quick feet and a great eye for a pass.

Thats weird. Famous people die every day Don't let your mind play tricks on you.edit: for once I agree with Wenger, football is a team sport and thus the Ballon d'Or is bullshit.

Every kid wants to score the goals when he's young. Keepers is a whole different category. I guess you can create a goalkeeper award but it'll never be as prestigious.

I politely disagree. I do not watch a lot of premiere league but in the Bundesliga for example there are a lot of defenders who play very good. And its not uncommon for CBs to score goals as well (see puyol, hummels...) its just from different situations. Also I hate measuring how well someone plays in the amount of goals he scores, I didnt think anyone would do this.

Pele, Cruijff, Maradonna, Zidane and now Ronaldo/Messi. I think that says it all basically. History doesn't remember defenders, they remember attacking players. And for good reason. We don't want every team in the world to play like Chelsea ( )

We are the opposite of what we were under DiMatteo on the back of the AVB sacking and winning the Champions League. Now we are a strong and very good passing unit, not the best, far from it, but still top 3 in the premiership, in my bias opinion xD Don't forget, our reserves out played Arsenal in their back yard at a passing game and our kids out passed/played/footballed Barcelona in the Nou Camp last year ![]()

I think defenders generally are poor at playing football, but there are exceptions and these exceptions are what make them so great. Vertonghen being one of them, Kompany, Silva, Ramos and Pique in his good years are all capable of outstanding defending and good technical ability. I also don't think many offensive players are so much better in possession to be honest, some of the wingers for example are so single minded and lose the ball so often it's laughable.

We don't want every team in the world to play like Chelsea ( )That's a Dutch way of thinking, in Germany Beckenbauer and Matthäus are generally seen as the best German players ever although they played somewhat defensive roles. Lahm will probably also be remembered for a long time. And don't tell me we had no good attackers, we had Gerd Müller
