Messi on a wing is weird Feels like a last minute change to counter Ramos in the midfield. Now the poor Sergio doesn't know who to follow and he already has a yellow. Smells good!

But this season is a right off for a while as he had no pre season and already picked up injury as of it. So i guess January onwards we should judge him On October 27 2013 01:30 Ysellian wrote: RM playing without a striker right? The reason we were in trouble is because Moyes again chose to play a whole raft of players out of position, and chose to play a system that relies on wide-men without any actual wide-men on the pitch. He then brings two wide-men onto the same side of the pitch when it was obvious from about 10 minutes into the game that we needed Cleverly/Nani off and Valencia/Januzaj on with Kagawa moving into Cleverly's position so he gets a chance to show what he can actually fucking do from a position he actually fucking understands. That it took him 2/3 of the game to correct such an obvious mistake should not be applauded. Having Kagawa on the left if the right-hand winger is an out-and-out winger like Valencia can kinda work because you've at least got some width on the left with Evra, but Nani and Kagawa both like to cut-inside as if they don't understand the concept of wing-play, and that made us far too one-dimensional against a team who are willing to surrender the flanks because they have faith in their central defenders eating up crosses. We were lucky, nothing more. Moyes needs to get his fucking act together FAST. EDIT: Of course, Moyes can't really do anything about the back 4 having an absolute 'mare. The passing from the back was shocking to say the least and certainly didn't help out cause. We won the game and I'm still fucking fuming. Such retardedness on display everywhere for us today. So nani isn't a wide man? and you suggest bringing Valencia on? have you seen his current form? An then you suggest putting kagawa in a deep role in a two man midfield (where celv was playing) and suggest that's a role he "understands" (when hes never played in a 2 man deep role) instead of the "false" winger role which he has played before (and im pretty sure he plays for japan no?). I dont get how Valencia would be the solution if your saying to problem was the wingers corsses being eaten up, when both kagawa and nani's strengths lie in beating men, shooting from range and playing good passes, which is exactly what we needed. They got a goal because of piss poor defending, the only thing you might of been able to criticize moyes for, which was partly due to leaving out vidic and rafael. That goal gave stoke the lift, and then we started to mount an attack back, and RVP uncharacteristicly fudged a few good positions he was in, and then a stunning freak free kick that no one saw coming that doesn't happen every week for stoke happened. We had more possession, our defence was the issue. Sure our attack wasn't prolific today but it wasn't as bad as people are making out. Edit: The Southampton game was defiantly his fault, trying to defend a 1 nil lead at home is not acceptable, but please can he stop being subjective to this narrative that united are a shambles without fergie and hes to blame that the media keep pedalling.
