Mata was never gonna leave. There wasn't even a bid by PSG. And even if there had been, there's no way in hell Chelsea would've sold him.

We all knew long before the transfer season started that Bale will want to move and we knew that Real Madrid were first in line. No surprise factor there. Money wise, I think it's a tad too much but eh. Ozil to Arsenal was not something I was expecting but I'm not complaining. Biggest signing this offseason for me. Biggest in surprise for me was Falcao. He was supposed to join a big team and he finally chose the money road to join a club that isn't even participating in the CL. Cavani to PSG was also big but that's because I'm a PSG supporter ![]() Neymar-Bale-Isco were for me the biggest talents to move this summer.

As for Kaka, he was always one of my favorites, shame that he had very unlucky injuries and Mourinho just didn't like him that much. GL in Milan and thanks for everything.

I was really looking forward to having Higuain as well, and well, I guess you can say that wish has been granted in some ways.

I guess with dat dirty money they're happy to send players on loan. Might have been different if there'd been a big, expensive signing but there really wasn't. Which I guess shows how confident Mourinho is in his team, as he should be. Mata should be returning to the core team so they can continue to build the chemistry around the three amigos Oscar, Mata and Hazard. The team was already looking extremely strong at the end of last season even when they had a really small squad and a million games to play.

Paid 4.5 million extra for Fellaini Tried to haggle Atletico just hours before the Window ends and lost out on Herrera (even after the player said he was willing to take a paycut) Coentrao deal fallen through due to incomplete Paperwork What a waste of Space this Woodward guy is..He needs to be Fired before we Become the laughing stock of this season (which we probably already are right now)

We didn't get rid of enough yet, we will be loaning more players out over the next few weeks. The only thing the transfer window stops is Loan signing to premier league clubs. Im sure a few of our kids will be off to the Championship. Chalobah - Mcechran - Ake to get some first team football. Other than that we still have a 26 man squad on paper 0.O

(I for example have absolutely no idea what to think of Everton. Got some money, got a few players but lost the coolest haircut. I am very impressed by Everton going all out to get Lukaku and McCarthy, however losing Fellaini could be big. The totaliser for Premier League spending was something like £520 million so a lot of teams made moves. Surely Southampton have made some serious waves spending £32 million. Tottenham, I personally have doubts that their new signings are going to push them above Arsenal. If they had kept Bale and made a couple of more signings, then certainly they would go above. But they haven't...Arsenal haven't lost anyone and have added one of the best creative midfielders in the world to partner Cazorla. Liverpool are very impressive - I thought they were buying random talent to fill the void that would be left by Suarez - but now Suarez has stayed...they have certainly added a competent compliment of support for the great man, and Sturridge is coming along nicely as an understudy and partner to Luis. Man City have made some serious moves getting incredible players to play with the team, I think each of the signings are inspired and very well executed. I am not overly impressed with Chelsea's activity over the transfer window. Eto'o I am excited about but I don't believe Willian was charged at a competitive price, however he does have the ability to play the wing which is useful, prevents us clogging up the midfield too with too much depth. However we didn't get a centrepiece, youthful striker and we might end up paying for it... My personal prediction for the league is: 1. Man United 2. Man City 3. Chelsea 4. Arsenal 5. Liverpool 6. Spurs 7. Everton 8. Swansea 9. Aston Villa 10. West Ham 11. Norwich City 12. Southampton 13. West Brom 14. Stoke City 15. Cardiff 16. Fulham 17. Newcastle 18. Sunderland 19. Hull 20. Crystal Palace

He may never go back to being the best striker in the world but he's still really good and scores when it matters. If he starts scoring regularly in the PL again then we're good to go and win it.

1st Choice - Eto'o 2nd Choice - Torres 3rd Choice - Ba Is how i think it will be, with Eto'o being able to play Left Wing on the front three of a 4-3-3 but who knows, whatever Mourinho does will be best xD

Mourinho's gonna run into trouble with the system he plays though. Playing 3 in midfield doesn't work if you have a million midfielders. He's probably gonna insist on Lampard and Ramires playing so it'll likely be a 4-2-3-1 like we saw against Bayern. Personally I'd like something like a 4-1-4-1 with Azpilicueta playing on the right instead of Ivanovic (whom I'd like to see in central defense with Cahill). Luiz as a holding midfielder. Oscar, Mata, Hazard & Willian (Willian and Hazard as wingers) and Torres/Eto'o up front. That's a system that allows for rotation without changing positions too much I feel. Ramires can swap in and out for Luiz anytime, Lampard for anyone in midfield with one of the remaining players filling the winger role if need be. But it's a really aggressive, offensive system so he probably won't play it sadly. Which is a shame because the team has insane offensive potential ESPECIALLY in midfield which is where Chelsea was usually overpowered by other teams

Im excited to see how quickly Willian can make his mark on the team and see if he was worth the money, also just hope we can score via a fucking striker this season that would be a nice sight!
