KPB went through all the German youth teams, so it's not that unusual that he wants to come to the Bundesliga. Also Schalke has players like Draxler, Huntelaar, Farfan and Papadopoulos, who aren't exactly nonames. Schalke was better than Arsenal last season, and AC Milan isn't exactly a CL title contender in the current state.
All in all the move makes some sense.

Arsenal always seems like its in trouble but they have huge experience in champions league, and somehow they always pull tru. they have been unlucky recently to face barcelona in the early knock out stages. but they know how to play champions league.
Napoli made great signings and has a proven champions league winner coach, of course that doesnt guarantee anything but it gives them huge +
Dont get me wrong Im not saying Durtmund is going to suck and lose all games, as I actually do think they are good team. and actually they have very high chance of qualifying as well. As I mentioning I find this the group of death, but in my post I was giving "my own" predictions and picks. And I think Napoli and Arsenal will advance.

I don't think it's German bias so much as the fact that you actually think Arsenal can be predicted to beat BVB in the group stage. The only way they're beating out BVB in the group stage is through several upsets.

Schalke always has the potential to pull a BVB. They have some of the best fans in Europe (behind BVB), are one of the most popular clubs in Germany, and they make almost as much money as BVB (aside from the huge influx that BVB got this past season). They have all the parts necessary to become a powerhouse club, including a fantastic stadium. In fact, there are several spells where Schalke has done really well in recent memory, even in Europe. Their only problem is that they haven't gotten all of the pieces together perfectly, missing either a quality manager or some key play-makers at one time or another. They are hardly a "meh" club and are a top choice if you are looking to play in Germany.
Haha, we all don't know what to expect from Dortmund yet this season though. Of course they still have some top top players and bought in a nice new striker by the looks of things. But to build on the success of last season is going to be pretty tough, not saying they can't do it, but it's going to be hard. Even Arsenal themselves are struggling but they still can turn out that nice passing game when they want too and if it goes there way can be hard to play against.
Going be a VERY VERY exciting group and i still think Napoli could go undefeated at home, they are beasts at home, and with FKN BENITEZ xD in charge anything can happen!
