They were too excited xD

Pretty much the same thing. What has Arsenal to do with that? Bayern had a slump this season, played a few very bad games(including both Arsenal games), but nobody cares about that anymore. Can happen in a season.
Overall well deserved by Dortmund! Real was kinda lucky that Götze had to go out. I'm pretty sure Dortmund would have sealed the game in the second half if it wasn't for Götze's injury, Real was kinda meh except for the first 20 and the last 10 minutes.

you cannot compare arsenal to madrid, and you cannot compare a quarterfinal to a semifinal :D

Priceless^ omg last 10min my stomach hurts and nearly choked my coffee from excitement, football is a sick game . Gratz to BvB, well deserved in the end, Madrid has so many stars with egos bigger than the club they're not playing like a proper team until last 20min. BvB YEESSS! Tomorrow Bayern just needs to seal the deal and i'll be ready to fly to London the 25th of may and have fun time with all the german football fans Echte Liebe

The other two BVB-FCB matches during this season were both close games. You should actually pay more attention to the teams besides a single CL game.

A slump? Bayern has lost 3 games all season, and each at different times. Bayern never hit an actual slump; they just had bad individual games.
On the game, in all the years I've watched BVB I've never seen them park the bus that hard. Literally the entire game had the pace going straight toward their goal, interspersed by a few attacking chances here and there (which BVB should've finished on). Götze's injury worried me and the effect really showed; both Großkreutz and Gundogan had TERRIBLE games, with so many poor touches and unnecessary turnovers.
The final is going to be awesome. All German final is going to be fantastic, and (assuming both teams are at full health) it will be a really intense and fast-paced game. Anyone that thinks Bayern is going to walk over BVB has no idea what it's like when these two teams actually meet. Really excited for it.
The only thing I'm worried about are Götze and Bender, who both came off injured. Not enough depth after the starting 11 to deal with a serious injury.

It is both KO round. And if anything, Dortmund gets the better end of the Arsenal-Real comparison.

Wow, many RM players really did not show up. But also, Dortmund looked kinda lax minus the few opportunities. BvB's biggest weakness is their CBs, I can see Bayern taking the final (or Barca actually).

Real lucky? How about the 2 missed chances in the end of the first leg by CR and Varane? Missed chances from first 15 mins of this game??
First leg Pepe was disasterous, he enabled all 3 goals by Lewi (not to put Lewi down, excellent nose for the goal), by bad defending, marking and offside traping. Penalty was needless as well but hell, things like that happen.
Sure, Dortmund had a lot of chances, but if it wasn't for Pepe in the first leg, I think we would've prevailed...

(3 draws within 6 league games before christmas, including the one against bvb; and the national cup match before the 0-2 loss to arsenal and several very bad games with close wins against lowly league competition.)

Weakness is the CB's? BVB's CB's are fantastic. Incredible defense for the entire game. BVB's weakness is a lack of depth. There's no one that can come in and step into the shoes of Lewandowski, Götze, Reus, Kuba, or Gundogan. Santana can be thrown into any part of the back line, but he's really the only sub that can perform against the world-class lineups of Barca/Real/Bayern/Man U.

I think we can all agree that Bayern would be the favourite and if they play as dominant as in the first half of their cup match Dortmund needs alot of luck. That said. We won a few championships with Großkreutz in our team which means that there is no challenge we can't overcome.

well, i think it is pretty obvious that grotzkreutz is no bad player, but clearly the one with the most limited technical skill and talent in general among the bvb squad. if they increase the depth and quality of their squad, he is probably the first player (that is not transfering away) to be replaced.

Bayern is not in the finals yet, they are still in for a hell of a game tomorrow. And if they manage to advance there is no favourite, it's just one game where everything can happen.

i wish i was sober enough to answer this quote with my own quote, but well: you cannot compare arsenal to madrid.

I love Großkreutz to death just as much as the next BVB fan, but against a lineup that is so ridiculously stacked, he is the weaker link in the attack.

Ramos is still the biggest cunt on a football pitch, all those hands in the face and elbows he shoulda had 2 yellows way into 2nd half. what a disgusting player to watch (all regulars here from germany could you please insert the city you're from and bundesliga team you sympathize wth? )
|
Lots of errors on both ends for Madrid. Dortmund the better team over the two legs, but not a good performance today.
