I really think it's unforgivable. When you are talking about a team buying that could spend 30 mill easily on him, and the fact that it's a 5 year contract with an 80 mill release clause. Really unbelievable. Especially seeing as big teams are bringing in players for 20-30 mill without even thinking these days.

Ok so I just found out about Song, and I've never been a fan of schadenfreude, but...come on. Just a couple days after Ferguson praises Arsenal's bargaining skills haha, and Song goes for 15 mil. 80 million release clause. Hahaha. Insane.
Tottenham outplaying Newcastle pretty solidly in the first half, no goals but Defoe and Bale both hit the woodwork. The sooner we sign a shit hot striker the better.

What's the status on Adebayor? Is his salary too high for Spurs? I thought it seemed like he was going there permanently.

Don't think it's salary issues, think it's AVB issues. Don't know if AVB wants him or not personally.

What a goal from Ba, quality strike.

Unlucky for Krul. Made great save at first, but Defoe is a poacher after all. :D
|
Oh wow, sadness for Spurs. Newcastle take the lead again on penalty.
|
quality play from Newcastle to battle back and get the 2-1. Quite an eventful match to watch, nice full back play from both teams, but Bale has not made much of an impact on the game.
|
That was such poor defending from Tottenham.
But yeah great play from Ben Harfa. (really need to tow down my dutch negativity )

Newcastle are a quality side, wonder if they can top last seasons performance!

I agree, I think people unfairly say they completely outperformed expectations and are due to crash back down to 8th-10th this season.

Ah goddamnit fantasy, same thing every fantasy ever, first draft always the best Had ben arfa, ba and odemwingie

I dont think that was ever going to happen, the people who said that are stupid. The real question is whether they can kick it to another gear. They have to much quality to not do well in the league as it is and be in around 5-6 consistently.
Wouldnt worry about Fantasy to much, first couple of weeks is a lottery.
