Reading 0-2 Chelsea - 75minutes played and Reading haven't had a shot Reading 2-2 Chelsea - Full time, in 15minutes Reading managed to have about 5-6 shots...And not once did Benitez think to bring a defender off the bench to come "sure things up at the back" i mean it's not the first time he has failed to do this. He is just begging to be sacked ffs.

Terrible offside call on Messi when he was like 1m behind the last defender. Xabi Alonso master of underground fouls like usual. Guy just kicks the player even if the ball isn't there. Barça missed SO MANY chances it hurts >.> Carvalho tried to stop Messi's ball from the ground with his hand. That's a second yellow card ez. Messi kinda weak today. Piqué and Varane beasts. Best players of the game for sure.

Best players of the game for sure. They should have won. But they didnt deserve it, I think Carvalho beats Alonso at being underhanded, primarily because he is a talentless but very clever fuck whos main skill is tugging at players and pulling their pants of without getting caught, over and over and over again. Messi got alot of attention, other players had to step up. This is what happens.

Then the 4 midfielders aka we-make-you-run-all-game pays off and we don't assassinate them... Frustrating. At some point it was 15 fouls to 3 and still 2 yellow cards in each side, such a joke. Ronaldo escaped the yellow card that would have sanctionned him for the 2nd leg, I don't even want to talk about Arbeloa, Alonso and Carvalho... Anyway a red on Carvalho wouldn't have changed a lot since he won't play the second game anyway <_<

Besides I never claimed subjectivity on the issue. I think hes been the same nasty shirt puller since the fixture Porto beat United the year they won the CL and has remained as such. Feel free to disagree with something a bit more concrete though. Our is being horny for Ricardo a thing these days in the peninsula.

They should invent a type of defender for him in football manager, the 'spoiler'. Continually grabbing people's shirts and bumping into them, not actually doing any defending per se. Thats actually defending T_T. He is very underrated player at this forum. But some1 appreciates him since he been bought to Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Pedro didn't really have a great angle tbh on his miss, keeper was in v. good position. Though Pedro was pretty ineffective overall--I think that's the bigger thing Before totally coronating Varane, he did have a major blunder that they escaped by luck when he was in the wrong offside position and held Messi on that time he got that ball totally the clear but was very wrongly called offside. Probably a goal. 1-1 is not a horrible result for Madrid; considering the way these go, 2-2+ is a more likely result than 0-0. 1 away goal isn't really very much. Another thing on some of the fouls, there was another one near the end that looked like Pique's very beginning foul on Ronaldo. If you tackle in late so far behind the ball with no chance of getting it, it shouldn't even matter if you make a whiff of contact, or if the player totally jumps over the challenge, it should still be a foul, it's just not a legitimate play and you put the other player off by making him jump or dodge a BS challenge. In the laws of the game attempting to trip is just as illegal as tripping, and this scenario is also impeding.

Frustrating.
