The reason many people think English is easy is because they hear it all the time which makes it seem like it has a lower entry level than a language you never hear. Are we talking about regional accent or languages in general? English is far easier than any latin language. The verbs are so easy compared to french, italian or spanish, it's not even funny. Concerning the Barca game tonight, meeeeeeh :'( 2 defensive fails, Alves on the 1st, Piqué on the red card, and we're done for the game... The freshness of la Real was clear, I've never seen a team of this caliber put this kind of pressure on Barcelona for so long in a game. Also, too many risks taken by the midfield to play vertical, this kind of game requires patience and control to disgust the opponent an make him waste more energy... Another game where Messi misses a goal and we concede one on the same play...

Though what makes English difficult is a multitude of exceptions to how words are pronounced. Nearly everything you read or write in Spanish is pronounced exactly how your textbook tells you it is. Google "ghoti" and you'll see plenty of examples of exceptions in the English language. I mentioned British English because it's not the English people generally hear on television and pronunciation is the difficulty in the language. Anyway I don't think I convince you to regard English more difficult than Spanish and this is probably because people's experience learning a particular language differs between people. So back to football ![]()

It doesnt matter how easy or hard they languages are to learn, Pochetino will not be able to communicate as effective as Adkin and tbh I dont see the reason for the switch, but I guess theres perhaps better heads than me who know more making the decision so I wont question it personally.

I specifically mentioned "ghoti" because it explains it better than I ever could. I taught myself how to read and write Portuguese after learning how to speak the language, I could never do the same in English.
