Your right - LOL!!! Draw to Chelsea away from home, sack manager....Replace him with Espanyol's old manager who has never managed in England before...Well that is a disaster waiting to happen. This is worst than the DiMatteo sacking imo too. He took the club from the 3rd division!! All the way to the Premier League within 2 seasons? Playing good footballer, on 0 budget. And now he gets sacked from his job for a manager who has never managed English football, so sad ![]() Source

Nigel Adkins and the board really must have not gotten along for him to get sacked now.

Pochettino is by no means good at all. His Espanyol career is kind of "shameful" throwing games against Madrid and always giving their best to beat Barcelona and so on. so sad. Never knew adkins tho.

Problem is they don't even have anyone world class to sell anymore, or really potentially so except Wilshere.

Oh God that article. Arsenal is run so poorly. They're gonna go to the Europa League this year/next year and become the next Liverpool. + Show Spoiler + We might see Spurs in the Champions League.

It's annoying how pundits everywhere praise Arsenal's good finances when the reality is that without selling players we'd be in the red every year. The wage bill is especially incredible when you consider that it is higher than Bayern Munich's. Imagine how much worse the situation would be if Arsenal charged the same for tickets and had the same TV deal as Bayern (who, IIRC, have turned a profit every season for 30+ years). At least they've started getting rid of some of the overpaid deadwood in the squad.

At least they've started getting rid of some of the overpaid deadwood in the squad. In the January transfer window alone they had to loan out Marouane Chamakh and Johan Djourou because they don't have a place in the first team. And then you have players like Bendtner and Denilson who are perpetually on loan, so why all the new signings? Pardon my ignorance, but they need to either unload those players' wages to get the bill down so they can make these new signings, or they need to play them. Arsenal is gonna be tough to watch in a few years when their poor wage management finally catches up to them (seems like it already has). Edit: Going through the club website, Bendtner and Denilson haven't even made appearances for Arsenal since 2011. Just lol

I have no idea why Wenger keeps so many useless players around, or out on loan. Just cut them loose if they're not working out for you. Don't loan them out hoping they'll magically develop into good players. If they can't get it done with their first opportunities, consider them as failures and MOVE ON.

Can't really "cut them loose" - best thing is sending them out on loan and hope the other team pays (at least a part of) the salary. Otherwise you've got all those highly paid guys sitting on your bench (or the stands) spreading discontent because they don't play.
