wow. don't they think it's a bit too much? he is good, but not that good imo.
Thats just another way of saying hands off. Ive heard at 25 million they'd consider aswell but even thats too much.
At the start of the summer they made it pretty clear that Witsel would be moving this summer. But after that it became a bit quiet, so who knows. I still think he will be transfered, but it will be for a much lower price then Benfica initially wanted.
Further more is Thorgan Hazard still very much a youngster, he is just one of the many Chelsea contracts each year hoping they will blossom. Only time will tell. And Kevin De Bruyne would be moving to Werder Bremen on a loan for a year, which would be a perfect step in his development in my oppinion.

No Way that Witsel will leave Benfica for less than 25-30M€. I really don't see that happening. If it happens, I'll be very disapointed...
Am I the only one who finds these kinds of prices insane?
Witsel for no less than 25mil, while RvP has been getting offers of less than ten. One an unproven youngster with admittedly lots of potential, the other the top striker in Europe last year, admittedly in the last year of his contract. Prices that get thrown around seem kind of insane for youngsters right now. How much was Lukaku bought for by Chelsea, and how often did he play last year?
Way too much pressure put on these youngsters and way too much is spent on them.

25mil is not THAT high. It's reasonable for a top youngster, that will most likely be one of the team's best players in the near future. Of course there is a risk in buying young players, but the teams prefer them lately.
And about RvP... He is not the top striker in Europe for the last year. Gomez can take that title(if we exclude Messi and CR7 ofc). Also that season was his first really good season. Before that he was decent at most. Add to that his constant injuries and there you go - 10-15mil.

Haha i laugh when everybody told us when we bought Verratti 12M "are you crazy this price for a Serie B player" and now Chelsea buys Oscar for 30M.
Did you see the little italian vs Chelsea ? I just never been as impressed by a player for his first time apparence in all my life ! This little guy is pure gold, i was a little bit suspicious but in 10 min he just impressed me so much, the Pirlo comparaison is just right. He is just the next best midfielder in the world, no doubt about that, such a talent, already better than many !
On the other side oscar is good but 30M is just crazy. That is expensive !
look at this vid and how he rules vs Lampard, Essien etc...

25 million is pretty high taking FFP into consideration. But yea with the market as inflated as it is for young players 25 million sounds about right.
The problem with the Witsel situation is the teams that can actually use him cant afford that atleast thats what it looks like at the moment anyway.
And yeah RVP was the best striker in England last year and a top 5 for Europe. That having been said this has nothing to do with what hes being valued at. FInal year on contract and age are naturally the bigger factors (Although Ibrahimovic seems to be immune to that sort of criteria) in how much teams want to pay for him. Arsenal's valuation is appropriate though.
Also what the fuck ? Why would you put Huntelaar and Gomez in the same sentence as RVP. Different kind of strikers, different primary skill sets. And this is going tp sound fanboyish but his left foot is more talented than both of them combined.

So now some guy supposedly rules zomg "Lampard and Essien" *gasp* ! In a preseason friendly and hes the next Pirlo. Righto. That game was running at 60 percent for the last 30 mins now that I recall.

Right then I'm going to make a 4 min video of Joe Allen doing the same things you posted and call him a legend in the making. The way people hype shit these days.. facepalm.

maybe the fact that everyone in Italia call him the next Pirlo, that Prandelli said he was going to be the main playmaker for the Nazionale and that he's now working /w one of the best coaches in the world gives him way more wieghy than a random schmoe.
Still a friendly but really a good match from Verratti, he might become a starter if he continues to do that.
Lol AIOL i honestly thought you were talking about Lavezzi and i was going to say your right, then you continuted to say he better than Lampard and Essien, so i clicked the YouTube link...then i laughed alot xD
Oscar has the Brazillian number 10 shirt which someone pointed out earlier in the thread, that is a huge deal in Brazil? He is a fabulous prospect but of course he has to prove it on the big stage in England, be interesting if he can. 25million£ or 30millionEuro is not a bad deal for a 20 year old imo. Compared to spending 42million Euros on a CB? The only good buisness your club has done is bring in Lavezzi for 26million Euro which is a bargain imo
just watched the video. verratti is good, but this video has a lot of silly moments. i don't consider passing the ball to the first free player a sign of extra class or anything, although he did made several fine passes and dribbles. video should've been shorter and shown more important things. can't really tell if he's going to be world class in future because a lot can happen (injuries, fights with managers etc) but he has potential. imo at least.

I didn't say he is better tan lampard and essien. I said he just couldn't loose the ball vs them, he has a great ball protection, already world class. I also consider the worst affair we made this summer was Lavezzi, a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Oh my...lol yet thiago silva is not? 42million euros for a brazillian CB? at 27? REALLY? compared to Lavezzi who is world class on the counter attack, and if it wasn't for him you would not of looked any good in the first half vs Chelsea (in a friendly) He has pace, a beautiful touch, great vision and a great finish.

Oscar is good, but I don't like him as much as the press (or Chelsea!) seem to like. And yes, donning the 10 in Brazil is a big deal. Ganso was supposed to be our 10, but he's had 3 or 4 knee surgeries and has never been the same player he was in 2010

i didn't see the friendly but if it's everything he did what's important is that he lost he ball once or twice when he didn't attempt to get that pass which offers a goal. And that's an unvaluable quality for a young 6.

We already have Menez and Nene. Lavezzi is as good as them. Nene is technicaly better and there is no doubt about that, but Lavezzy is better physicaly, faster. Nene is one little piece of skill who was unlucky all along his career, sadly for him he get the attention he deserved at 29 in Paris but he could have been titular in every top club. Sadly verry few people watch Ligue1.
