1-0 Scouse 1-1 Penalty, volley hits Allen with his arms in the air, and Noble dispatches the penalty 2-1 West Ham, Cross comes in and Gerrard has headed it into the top corner of his own net. HT 2-2 Joe Cole gets played in the channel by Sterling and a beautiful finish across the keeper. 3-2 Scouse! Shevly scores it! Cross comes in and he throws himself at the near post, it flicks up off his boot and lobs the keeper

He also scored 3 goals against SSC Napoli, 2 gainst ManCity and 1(+1 assist) against Real Madrid, all small teams of course.

ManCity in CL is a small team lol. But yes you are right. He did win the CL for Bayern after all... Wait, wasnt the final the game where he missed like 3 top chances? Ah well its just one game, he did win the league for Bayern, right? Or not... Or scored the most goals in the Bundesliga! Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Gomez is one of the most overrated strikers in the world. I still find it hilarious that Gomez wasn't the top scorer of the league last season (with more games played than Huntelaar). I mean he has Robbery, Kroos, Mueller, Schweinsteiger gifting him goals while Huntelaar has Holtby, Farfan...? He scores a lot yes, but with the midfielders he plays with, anyone would even me.

You were up 1-0 with 10 minutes to go against one of the main rival on the table, and you decided to experiment with fucking Faque??? Leave that bullshit for Europa League or something ... Of all the substitutions to criticize, you pick that one? By far the worst was Huddlestone for Lennon. Huddlestone is STILL out of shape and gives the ball away seemingly with every touch. Carroll or even Livermore would have been much better.

Messi is the only person who scored more goals in a Champions League season than the 12 Mario Gomez scored last year. And he did score quite a lot of goals for Stuttgart without the help of Bayern's midfield. Gomez certainly is no Ronaldo or Messi, but he is a top quality striker. And he is constantly improving. Whatever he will achieve, however, there will always be lots of people too blind to see his abilities. It was the same with Klose.

Prosection for assault. And they should punish the club, thats the only thing that deters fans. Punishing the individual wont mean jack shit. Maybe the club thing wont either, but itll make atleast some of them think twice.

I don't understand how any supporter would care more about a fine for the team or 2 matches without attendance or whatever, than about themselves not being allowed to ever set foot in the stadium again. prosecution for assault in addition though, sure. Im not talking monetary fines. Im talking point deductions. It will set fans so straight so fucking fast (atleast the majority of them). No one wants to be "that guy" who cost their club points. No one. It still might not work that well. But punishing that dude will do jack to fix the issue if it is indeed fixable. Seems like Messi breezed past the record. And Jordi Alba just tried to play the worst offside in history.
