That's kinda cool there there's that much interest, but part of me thinks its better if we all just stick with the original one at Victory cafe that's been going for several events, and get a bigger crowd in one place as opposed to 3 places. the 3 places may be in the "GTA" but they are far apart. its clear many people in this thread rely on public transit. therefore, the Barcraft event at Kipling and Lakeshore near Humber College is still on. and that venue is at minimum 2.5 hours by public transit away from this Markham Barcraft event. and this includes possibly taking 2 forms of public transit and paying 2 fares. so this event is clearly the best option for any one living in Markham. for any one who goes to the Lakeshore Humber Campus the Kipling/Lakeshore CyberWizz event is clearly the best option... they can walk to it... and stagger home drunk. whenever there is competition it is the consumer that wins. the Barcraft Event at Kipling and Lakeshore will have cheaper booze than either of these other 2 places.

Are you traveling by horse buggy? Even public transit can (and has gotten me) get you from Markham to Kip/Lakeshore in like 1.5... Taxi/driving in less than an hour (assuming not between 4 and 6pm... Kuz the dvp is hell (Toronto actually now has the worst traffic in the world). But anyway, might check out the locations before hand... I'd prefer the location that is the most "bar-like" type of atmosphere.

Read the TTC Schedule for Sunday.... not the Monday to Friday Rush Hour Schedule. How do you propose to get from WARDEN and HWY7 to either the DON MILLS Subway Station OR FINCH Subway on SUNDAY? How often have you taken public transit north of Steeles? It is a dead zone. How do you propose to get from the Subway station to Lakeshore road ON SUNDAY? M-F during rush hour it takes a minimum of 20 minutes .. but to get from Islington OR Kipling Station to Lakeshore Road.... IS 30-45 MINUTES ALL BY ITSELF ON SUNDAY because the bus to lakeshore arrives once every 20 MINUTES. What you gonna take the StreetCar? which basically goes as fast as a horse and buggy? So don't hand me this crap that a Humber College Student can pop up to Markham like its nothing. when all they have to do is walk to the place at Kipling and Lakeshore for a total cost of ZERO. to any one who lives in south etobicoke.... good luck trying to get any where north of Steeles on Sunday via public transit.

I like it, but no one seems to share my addictions =( Drinking alone sounds very "fun". Well, that's exactly what these events are for. I don't know anyone else that plays or watches SC2, so I just started going to these events. 5 minutes after I got to the first one, people were asking me what race I played, who my favourite player was etc... I stayed drinking with some guys after one event, and basically now I do know a bunch of people. A lot of people just come alone
