What does tagalicious do? The links don't tell me anything :/
I followed the links as well and couldn't find a description. Although I'm very interested in helping any company that supports TL, I'm opposed to downloading and running applications that don't have documentation.
Can you please include a description of the software in the OP or include a link?
Cool, I'll try these out!

Updates all the media information and adds album art as far as I know, even for unknown songs. I think descriptions should be added to the OP. Everything can be found on their site btw.

Signed up to try out Tagalicious. My iTunes library is a mess.
btw, the link to download it is broken on the google groups site

My apologies, the link is now corrected.
If you manage to get to it quickly you'll be the first person outside of TLAF to ever install Tagalicious for Windows!
Could this be real? Tagalicious finally released for windows? Awesome! Definitely signing up.
Signed up and downloaded. Thank you TLAF! :>
Signed up for iRip, but doesn't seem to be a download link yet. Anyway, cool stuff. I'll be sure to follow this thread
Awesome Joined both groups for Tagalicious. Sounds interesting.
Signed up without a shadow of hesitation. Anyone sponsoring Liquid is a baller in my eyes
Well if you actually make it for linux one day, let me know
Tagalicious sounds pretty useful - I hope it's as useful as I imagine it could be!

My HDD just failed over the weekend and now I have no music on my new one, but all my songs are trapped inside my iPod. I'm gonna give iRip a whirl and see if it can save my poor collection.
This might be a dumb question:
I subscribed to the Tagalicious for Mac group, but can't seem to find where to download the application to use it. I'm probably just missing something completely obvious.
Thanks!

Thanks! There should be a link in the discussions.
Signing up for Tagalicious for Windows, I'll test it out when I get back home.

So awesome!!! I've been waiting for this! iRip is great. I have great expectations for tagalicious!

Anything to help a company thats helping a great team/site.

I think I found it. If you look under the discussion from March 1st (the 2nd newest one) there is a download link.

Exact same thing happened to my sister. I downloaded iRip after remembering that TLAF sponsored TL and it worked perfectly.

Signed up for the Tagalicious groups. I can test on both Mac and Windows, as I have iTunes on both and my libraries are a mess.

Excellent to hear. This actually happened to me a few years ago, and the program I tried to use made a total bollocks of the job. Half the songs just disappeared and many of the ones that actually made it lost all their tags, names and info. They all were named things like LKXD, ZETN, etc. I was going to say "maybe I'll eventually learn my lesson and make back-ups," but hopefully iRip means I don't have to learn anything!

Tagalicous 1.1.2 is nice, that is all.
Signed up for Tagalicious, left feedback on the Google Group. Awesome program concept, I'll definitely be looking forward to improvements on it.
Where does one go to report feedback for these products, specifically Tagalicious? I'm not familiar with how Google Groups works, and I don't see any way to report my findings there. What should I do?

Signed up, my music collection is all perfectly tagged, so I'm curious to see what else Tagalicious can offer.
yayyy,, i been waiting for Tagalicous on windows for ages.
When you need any Beta testers for Ubuntu tell me. I guess you wont release iRip on ubuntu because its already built in but maybe Tagalicious.

Gonna check out tagalicious now.
Tagalicious sounds sick- but I have 2 questions about it. Where does it store this data? Does it create a new file, or does it add it to the ID3/4 tags? How often is the polling for this particular app? ((as in, will it be constantly trying to search for new data / writing new data / cutting into my proc availability - memory? )) That's part of why I don't use iTunes much anymore =0\
Edit; Nevermind. I opened my eyes.
I'll test tagalicious out, because I've actually been looking for a similar program.
Might give iRip a try, but overall I'm not really a fan of iTunes... :[
so do we just download irip form the TLAF homepage or is there a link from the google group like there was for tagalicious?
It asked for a serial key here for Tagalicious Windows version, who do I talk to?
I will try the windows one, it seems pretty good and awesome, ill report back later.

Joined the group best of luck to the greatest sponsor :D

does tagalicious work for foreign music, specifically korean and japanese music?
I wish you didn't need itunes to use this software. I have a lot of music that is horribly disorganized and I wish there was an app to clean it up and organize it from multiple sources (i have like 3 diff hard drives atleast with music on them)
I just got an Iphone a week ago, and am I reading this right? I can copy stuff onto it but not the othe way around?
Can't find any download links for the windows one, am I missing something?
I bought a few of these apps when the sponsorship was first announced. They seem nice but I could never get Rivit to work properly with my PS3. I hope you guys manage to develop some more esport specific helper applications in the future, I'd definitely get more.
Although I don't need my music collection cleaned up (I'm extremely OCD and it's in pristine condition with perfect tags, FLAC/Log/Cue, 600x600 artwork for everything), I have a question: what database does Tagalicious use to find the proper tags from? Also, what about the artwork?
I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth getting Tagalicious over Picard or Jaikoz and seeing as I'm somewhat heavily involved in various music communities I feel like it could be useful information to pass on if Tagalicious does indeed offer access to equal or superior databases. The software is a hell of a lot smoother and nicer than its alternatives.
Hey is Beta closed until 1.2? I'd love to give this a try, but older betas are only allowing 50 tags, and that's just too small a sample to see if it's going to work well for alot of my older music.
Thanks
I've been hoping Tagalicious would come out for Windows for a while. Here's to hoping it works as well as I hope it does.
Need serial to get more than 25 songs tagged
Where is the Tagalicious Windows link?
The 2 links I found said they expired on 2/28/11 and 3/4/11.
I am trying to get a serial but have had no luck. Help please? :D
Down to try out Tagalicious!

Oh god, I hope so.

I wish Tagalicious would work standalone (without iTunes)... I'm really craving for a good mp3 tagging software. I've tried numerous programs and while some do "work", none are really "good" as far as I know!

If it does, I'm quickly dishing over my cash. It'd literally save my really unorganized collection of foreign music.

Will try this out tomorow.
I love you TLAF <3
Nice, I'll be be checking these out soon. Anything to help out TLAF
I've been waiting for a Tagalicious release for Windows as well. Does it support tag clouds/multiple tags (original iTunes only allows for one cohesive tag)?
where do i get a serial? i want to try this tagalicious
Hey guys,
I am the developer for Tagalicious Windows,
Thanks for the massive sign up to the Tagalicious Windows beta. There is a new build up now which shouldn't require a serial, it also has some changes and bug fixes from the last one.
Also I develop iRip Windows, I am not expecting a beta to be available for this application for another few weeks. I will post when one is ready.
Thanks for all the feedback so far, Ben

Awesome! I've been refreshing this thread every now and then to check, haha.
..It took me a while to figure out how to Tag All, lol. I like the minimalist approach in designing the interface but.. no buttons = confused user ]:
Also, the program becomes unresponsive when tagging, at least a while into it.
Is there any specific place to post bug reports etc? I don't see that many in this thread nor in the Google Group, so..

Posting in the Google Group is fine, just in the thread for whichever beta you are testing.

Heosat, here's a question:
Say my iPod is formatted for a mac...do you think I could use iRip to get the songs from it onto my new PC?

It depends on the iPod. For older iPods they are formatted in HFS+ which means that Windows can't view them, but for newer iPods and touches they switched to formats that windows could read.
for team liquid I will do this :D also a code freak so quite interested in the testing process.

Hello, I would love to help support your applications, but I seem to have a problem. I am a mac user, but I noticed that the download links on your website aren't supported (from what I saw, please correct me if I'm wrong) for mac os x 10.4.11. I was wondering if there are/were previous versions of Tagalicious, IRip, and RipIt for Tiger users (yeah my laptop is old >.>) or if there was a possible work-around for each/any of these. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately we don't support 10.4 anymore. Our philosophy is to support the current and last builds of the OS.

Would've been keen to try out Tagalicious, but not to install itunes..
Just a bit curious but iRip seems kind of illegal since you could share music with ur mates. Dosent seem like something apple would be too fond of that ^^
^thats not the intended use. Kind of like how youtube isn't intended to be a host for Ip Man and its still on there.

iRip is intended as a backup solution in case you have a hardware failure on your PC which causes you to lose all your music.
Plus, as iDevices are becoming more complicated, there is a whole bunch of non-copyrighted information on there that we want to more easily transfer, like photos and contacts.

Why does Tagalicious require itunes? Now I need to setup a VM...
Your apps look great.. but unfortunately as they require iTunes I wont be testing them... For the most petty reasons possible! - iTunes only gives you the option to select "English (United States)' as its language which always sends me in fits of rage and makes me instantly look for other alternatives.
Is there any future possibilities of your app's running standalone without iTunes for people that choose to use other software like copytrans?
I downloaded this app and overall its really cool and I look forward to updates.
Although, similar to previous questions, I wonder what database this program is pulling information from. Certain songs and albums I know to be correctly tagged are coming up as wrong and offering to change it. Also, I am getting a lot of red exclamation points for my songs. Is it just a bug or is the database just really selective?
Maybe if iTunes could support flac o.o but signed up to test tagalicious for the songs I do have on itunes ^^
cool the update client worked!
