For the FNM one of the guys brought me a spare deck to use. Had a choice of 3 and I went with a red/black tribal Minotaur deck. Pretty nasty stuff but it was kind of fun.

Series 1: Abzan Aggro
Game 1 - This was pretty standard Abzan game I think. I got some beat down on his face early on but then he stablized with the death touch 3/3s and killed me
Game 2 - Really hectic game. This time I was piloting the deck a bit better I think. Instead of trying to keep his board down I just focused on getting what I needed then doing a massive damage push. Managed to beat down his face pretty impressively.
Game 3 - We were running a bit low on time here so both decided to try play as fast as possible to get a result. This time he managed to stabilize with a warden and the 3/3 with deathtouch. I got him down to 7 HP with 3 creatures on board and a lightning strike in hand. Here's where I fucked up. Instead of dealing with the warden I left it up for him to buff to a 9/9 with lifelink and trample which pushed him over my kill range.

1-2 to Abzan

Series 2:
I'm not going to do a battle report for this. It was against a newer player who I just crushed 2-0

Series 3: Red/White Aggro
Game 1 - He drew his 2-1 fliers that let him look at top card and just kind of snowballed, not much I could do
Game 2 - This game w as super close. I established a board and got him down to 4 hp before he managed to clear and stabilize with 3 creatures up. This is the play of the night for me. The guy that leant me the deck was chilling watching when I did I think something super smart. So I have no board and 1 card in hand(Bluffing land). I draw the 5 cost minotaur that gives Haste and +2/+0. His board is 1 untapped guy and 2 tapped. My first thought was to play the creature and kill his defender but then I realized that wouldn't win me the game. I had only 8 life and he has 6 power on board so I wasn't within lethal range. Instead what I did was keep that card in hand as he didn't see it last game. He swings 2 creatures leaving up 1 to defend dealing 4 to my face. Now I draw a second minotaur and drop both giving both haste and +2/+0 which makes both creatures 4/3. His last card in hand is only 2 damage removal so I win the game. In hindsight it's not that amazing a play but idk I'm just super happy I saw it and the guy that lent me the deck was going on about how smart it was since he was so confused why I didn't play the card when I top decked it last turn.
Game 3 - Like game 1 but this time I got him to about 8 then he stabilized with those 2-1s and won :<

Series 4
Again this was against a newer guy I just crushed super hard. Nothing much to say

Series 5 - Monowhite Warriors
Game 1 - I was in a good position flooding board, he plays board clear(One that he selects targets that stay alive and everything else die). From there I just lost too much steam and that was it
Game 2 - The beat down. He drew poorly and I got one of my deathtouch aura creatures out which just stomped. I knew now his mana range for the board clear so I played around it a bit better but it didn't matter.
Game 3 - A bit like game 2. This time he draws gideon. I'm pissing myself thinking about this guy coming out and I have almost no board. He attacks with empty mana so I double block gideon which kills even post combat trick leaving me with 1 creature and him 1. His draws kind of suck where as I get my 3 mana emperor minotaur and just flood board while going face. Game ended with him 1 turn away from his board clear. Not much to say about this series really.

I'm a bit too tired to go through my whole draft so I'll do that at a later stage if someone wants. For now I'll just list the bombs I decided to build around.

Draft:
In my packs I landed up with these big bombs. Sire of Stagnation(6 mana blue/black), Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper(5 mana blue/white, Deathless Behemoth,Ulamog's Nullifiers(4 mana blue/black) annd Omnath, Locus of Rage(7 mana red/green). So from there I landed up discarding the Omnath and going with Blue/Black/White as my colour setup

Creatures - Not much to right home about. A bunch of Eldrazi token creators and some white landfall(Like 2). It was mainly about those bombs. Halimar Tidecaller is only notable outside of bombs. It did some work with Awaken Sheer Drop in a game letting me get double removal and 3/3 bodies out.

Spells - This is where it got cool. I had tons of really great removal. Stasis Snare, Demons Graps, Sheer Drop, Complete Disregard, Ulamog(Kind of but not really) and also Dispel for any instant tricks. Then I had Mire's Malice and Grave Birthling. Grave birthling is a great enabler for Ulamog and Mire's Malice did so much work. I also had Ugin's Insight but I felt it was too heavy to run

On to the games, It was 1-2 AM and 7 hours into magic so I don't really recall the individual series too well. Let me just give highlights

Series 1:
No idea who I was facing. I just remember game 1 going pretty one sided to him but then I crushed game 2 and 3 with just late game power. Winning 2-1

Series 2:
This was a pretty intense series. He was running I think black green with some really aggro stuff. First game I managed to stabilize on 4 hp but it was just too low and he grinded out the win. Game 2 was again super intense game. I stabilize on 6 hp this time and drop down my Sire of Stagnation but I keep 1 blue mana up. He instantly goes for Bone something(the black 1 mana removal) which I dispel. That was game lol. He's mana screwed so he has to play lands but it draws me two cards and is exiling some good stuff. Still with Ulamog in hand i use that as my final nail in the coffin when he tries to get a bit threat down. Series ends 1-1 as we ran out of time

Series 3:
Again I think this guy was running Black/White or Black/Red. It was a pretty meh game where nothing much happened. Last game 1 to that black that gains 1 life when shit dies and I lose 1. Rest of the games I just got down my Sire and fked him in the ass. 2-1

Series 4:
Man this series. Guy was playing Red/Green/white token deck. He had 2 of those green enchantments that spawned Scions and the green mana ramp creature. I just couldn't deal with all the tokens + big threats every turn. Game 2 I teched in the white creatures that destroy enchantments but didn't draw any while he got 2 of his early game. That was it 0-2

Series 5:
This guy was Green/Black and I think White or Blue idk lol. His game plan was to throw down lots of huge ass Eldrazi while removing my shit with his spells. It worked out pretty well for him in game 1 but then I wised up a bit in game 2 and took an easy win. Game 3 was pretty interesting. He used that Eldrazi that gets him to search his deck for a big card and put it at the top. He throws down a 13/13 eldrazi which I deal with Sheer Drop while I deal with the other with Demons Grasp. I'm pretty low but got a small board(2 I think). Now I know he has at least 1 big Eldrazi in hand with 3 cards as he hadn't played the one he revealed. He plays ANOTHER one(dam wtf man) which I think I deal with Stasis Snare as he plays it. Then my turn I use Mire's Malice with Awaken, killing his last big threat in hand and getting me a board. From there I won pretty easily as the Sire came down next turn which just locked it out. 2-1 to me
